摘要
•Low genetic testing rates in colorectal cancer extends to young-onset colorectal cancer patients.•Patients who received chemotherapy, had a strong family history of cancer and completed a visit with a genetic counselor are more likely to complete germline genetic testing.•The association of familial cancer history, oncology care, and genetic counseling with completion of genetic testing can assist in the development of future interventions.
