Gynaecology, Physiotherapy and Balneoclimatology - an Interdisciplinary Approach

Introduction: Genital inflammations are the most common gynaecological disorders in girls and women. Patients usually visit a gynaecologist because of the symptoms of such inflammations as: vaginal discharge, swelling, changes in the vulvar skin, vulvar pruritus, pain in the genitalia, and lower abdominal pain. The treatment of inflammations in the external and internal genitalia is multidimensional and complex. Interdisciplinary treatment performed by gynaecologists, obstetricians and physiotherapists can improve female health, which is crucial in terms of their quality of life.
