摘要
The advent of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and biomarker-guided targeted therapy has been at the forefront of treatment advances in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). For early-stage, resectable NSCLC, surgical resection followed by adjuvant platinum-doublet chemotherapy has long been the standard of care. Therapeutic approach for early-stage lung cancer has rapidly evolved in the last few years with the emergence of novel neoadjuvant and adjuvant strategies incorporating the use of ICIs and targeted therapy. This article attempts to review the evolution of these approaches and the evidence supporting them.
