Impact of BK polyomavirus viremia on the outcomes of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

Although it is known that BK polyomavirus (BKPyV) causes hemorrhagic cystitis (HC) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), the clinical significance of BKPyV viremia has not been fully evaluated.
