This paper presents a literature review about the investigations focused on the study of technology as a support to inquiry-based science learning in primary education over the last decade.44 studies are analyzed and it is disclosed information about the type of supports and technological tools, technology adequacy to learners needs and the evolution of teachers' guidance in these contexts.Educational research in this area is clearly insufficient given the social significance of the tackled questions.
