Au/ag nanoflower arrays with plasma-coupling effect as highly sensitive SERE substrates

The plasma-coupling effect can enhance the local electric field strength, resulting in a significant improvement in the performance of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). In this study, Au/Ag nanoflower arrays (Au/Ag NFAs) structure with plasma-coupled effect were successfully fabricated using a polystyrene (PS) nanosphere array template combined with chemical synthesis. As a SERS substrate, the array demonstrates excellent homogeneity (RSD = 3.4 %) and is capable of detecting malachite green (MG) at concentrations as low as 0.001 ppm, showing good application prospects in surface trace detection and environmental monitoring.
