Counter-Cartographies of Resistance - Exposing Everyday Authoritarianism in the Philippines

The Counter Mapping PH Collective shows how they use collective counter-mapping as a counter-strategy to expose the negative effects of authoritarianism in the Philippines. They present maps that expose attacks on human rights defenders, the impact of authoritarian top-down infrastructure projects and land grabbing. The collective engages in creative projects that foreground experiences and concerns of the marginalized and forge ties of solidarity in the struggle against authoritarianism and imperialism.
