NDN over TCP with Multi-Level Congestion Control

In order for the named-data networking (NDN) to be adopted in a real world, its deployment in the Internet-scale IP network is indispensable. This paper proposes an NDN over TCP approach where the NDN nodes exchange NDN packets via a TCP connection established between them. Specifically, this paper focus on the multi-level congestion control executed in TCP and NDN levels. This paper also shows the results of performance evaluation for the proposed approach in comparison with NDN over TCP with simple TCP congestion control and NDN over UDP with rate-based congestion control.
