The Supplementary Figure S1 illustrates the process of used to calculate follow-up time for the men in the general population cohort at age Y. Population data (A and B) are sourced from the population data of Statistics Finland (RRID:SCR_024843) and prostate cancer (PCa) data is based on the institutional pathology data. This calculation was repeated for men of all ages (50-79 years).
