Buryat State University (Russian: Бурятский государственный университет) is institution of higher education, one of the leading educational and scientific centers of Siberia and the Russian Far East, located in the city of Ulan-Ude, Buryat Republic, Russia. Courses are taught in Russian and Buryat. It was established in 1932 as the Buryat State Teachers' Training College, and became a university in 1995. It is a member of the University of the Arctic.Founded in 1666, Ulan-Ude is situated 5500 km from Moscow, the capital of Russia, and 450 km from Ulaanbaatar.
A novel acridine-based fluorescent sensor (Sensor ANT) for the highly selective and sensitive detection of cyanide ions (CN-) was rationally designed and synthesized via the conjugation reaction of acridine-9-amine with 3-nitrophenyl isothiocyanate. The sensing mechanism is triggered by the specific interaction between exogenous CN- and the hydrogen-bonding moieties within the sensor's molecular framework, which induces a distinct fluorescence quenching response. Systematic titration experiments confirmed that Sensor ANT exhibits rapid response kinetics, excellent selectivity, and reliable qualitative/quantitative detection capabilities toward CN-. Complementary biocompatibility assays, including in vitro cellular imaging and in vivo zebrafish experiments, further verified the promising application potential of this sensor in practical and biological detection scenarios. The detection limit (DL) of Sensor ANT for CN- was calculated to be 2.89 & times; 10-7 M, with a 1:1 binding stoichiometry and a binding constant of 1.95 & times; 104 M-1. These findings demonstrate that Sensor ANT represents a robust candidate for CN- detection in environmental and biological systems.
In the context of digitalization, religious organizations are not only adopting new channels of communication but also redefining the forms of their public presence, which makes the analysis of religion through the lens of post-secularity particularly relevant. Russian Buddhism is especially illustrative in this regard, as it combines traditional religious forms with active engagement in the contemporary media environment. The aim of the article is to examine the digital presence of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia in social media and to identify the ways in which religious, ethnocultural, and public functions are combined in its online communication. The objectives of the study include identifying the most engaging types of publications, revealing the stable semantic dominants of its digital discourse, and interpreting the findings from a post-secular perspective. The empirical material consists of publications from the official VKontakte community of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia over a ten-year period of its existence. The analysis is based on a combination of quantitative assessment of user engagement and content analysis of word frequency, which made it possible to correlate audience reactions with the internal structure of the community’s digital discourse. The study demonstrates that the digital communication of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia cannot be reduced to mere information dissemination. The strongest audience response is generated by posts situated at the intersection of religious, cultural, and public agendas. The frequency analysis shows that the community’s digital discourse is dominated by institutional-organizational and sacral-ritual layers, while personal-authoritative, ethnocultural, and socio-public registers also play a significant role. The article concludes that the digital presence of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia constitutes a form of post-secular public religion in which the sacred retains its significance while operating within a broader ethnocultural, regional, and public context.
The features of Myxobolus pronini location in Prussian carps (Carassius auratus gibelio) were described and the relationships in the parasite–host system analyzed. Large spore masses surrounded by a connective tissue capsule were found in the body cavity. The development of vegetative M. pronini forms was observed to start in exocrine tissue of the carp pancreas.
The authors have for the first time identified gold–bismuth sulfosalt mineralization at the Vladimirskoe gold deposit (Eastern Sayan Mountains). This mineralization is unique to the southeastern part of the Eastern Sayan Mountains. Various Bi, Pb, and Ag sulfosalts, and native bismuth and silver have been found in the ores, forming peculiar mineral intergrowths with gold. It is evidence of the complex genesis of ores and the possible involvement of polymetallic melts in the processes of concentration and redistribution of gold and silver. The mineralogical and geochemical characteristics and structural features of the ores point to a metamorphogenic hydrothermal type of mineralization. The development of ore mineralization may be related to accretion–collision processes that took place in the Paleozoic.
Higher-order interactions introduce an additional structural dimension to complex networks, requiring consistent generalizations of classical topological measures. In hypergraphs, the definition of distance between nodes is not unique: beyond the conventional measure derived from clique projection, an alternative formulation that explicitly incorporates the sizes of hyperedges, those of their intersection and their weights has been recently proposed. Here, we generalize three distance-based topological measures, namely closeness centrality, betweenness centrality and node eccentricity, using this new hypergraph distance. Trough tractable illustrative examples, we demonstrate that the differences between results obtained with the two distances are systematic and arise from structurally meaningful features of the higher-order networks. Also, analyzing a series of real-world datasets, we show that hypergraphs can be divided into three distinct classes, corresponding to the possible dominance of specific orders of interaction over their general metric structure. This provides practical guidance on the possibility of limiting the analysis to only some specific interaction orders, reducing its complexity while maintaining the full information of the system.
