A decoupled linear second-order accurate unconditionally energy stable scheme for a phase-field model of the moving contact line (MCL) problem is proposed. The model consists of coupled Cahn-Hilliard and Navier-Stokes equations with the generalized Navier boundary condition. The scheme proposed introduces three scalar auxiliary variables to decouple nonlinear coupling terms while retaining stability and accuracy. Two of these variables represent the bulk and boundary energy, and one captures the “zero-energy-contribution” property between convection and surface tension terms. All related terms are decoupled by applying semi-explicit treatments while preserving stability and accuracy. Further coupling between velocity and pressure is removed by adopting a projection method. The overall scheme is second-order accurate, and the unconditional stability of energy is rigorously proved. Numerical results demonstrate the accuracy, efficiency, and stability of the method for the MCL problem. Besides, a consistent implementation of the contact angle hysteresis (CAH) is conducted to model important CAH phenomena.
This paper investigates the potential of large language models (LLMs) to generate synthetic personas for enhancing customer interaction in innovation processes. Building on existing literature in persona-based design and agent-based simulation, we identify a gap regarding the use of LLMs as interactive customer surrogates. We address this through a prototype system that creates and operationalizes synthetic personas derived from structured templates, enabling dialogue-based exploration of customer needs. An expert interview with an in-dustry practitioner informs the design, while the prototype demonstrates the fea-sibility of leveraging readily available LLM tools, specifically OpenAI models via Azure AI Studio. Results show that generated personas provide contextually appropriate, differentiated feedback aligned with domain knowledge, suggesting their value as a complement—not a replacement—to direct customer involve-ment. We discuss integration into the enhanced FuGle innovation model and highlight ethical, trust, and validation challenges. The study establishes a foun-dation for further research on LLM-driven customer proxies in innovation man-agement.
The present study focused on examining the interrelationship between service quality dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) and investigated the correlation between perceived service quality and customer satisfaction in the retail banking sector in Vietnam. The predictor variables (independent variables) for this research were the aforementioned service quality dimensions. The outcome variable (dependent variable) was overall customer satisfaction. This study can help bank leaders evaluate and improve the service quality of retail banking in the context of financial liberalization and globalization.
