In this paper,the author identified the nature of the crack and the causes and analyzed the impact of crack gear on work process through macroscopic,microscopic observation,chemical analysis and microstructure examination.The results show that this crack is due to the grinding process and organization grinding cracks caused by bad method,and have serious implications for the use of the gear,in general situation scrapped using.
