This paper discusses the language expression of folk traditional paper-cutting art form in the view of Chinese painting. First of all, it systematically analyzes the relationship between traditional paper-cutting art and Chinese painting from three aspects: thinking concept, visual symbol and image color. Secondly, using Charles Saunders Pierce's theory, the characteristics of a work that combines paper-cutting and Chinese painting with examples are analyzed, and it is pointed out that the combination of paper-cut and Chinese painting can effectively express the theme and emotion. Finally, the paper discusses the application of traditional paper-cutting art in Chinese painting, reveals the deep relationship and interaction between them in the perspective of Chinese painting, and provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the integration of the two art forms.
Public waste management can minimize environmental impacts by ensuring efficiency in waste reduction, recycling, and waste disposal processes. When combined with effective waste management, biomass energy can effectively replace fossil fuels. It is essential to protect natural resources in order to maximize the effects of waste management and biomass energy. In this context, this study investigates the effects of biomass energy, public waste management expenditures, and natural resource depletion on the load capacity factor in selected EU countries for the period 1995-2021. The findings of the dynamic common correlated effects estimator (DCCE) reveal that biomass energy has a positive effect on the LCF in Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Waste management expenditure has a positive impact on the LCF in the Netherlands. Although the impact of natural resource depletion is negative on the LCF in most nations, it significantly decreases the LCF only in Hungary. A harmonized framework specific to each state's unique characteristics is proposed to address variable impacts across EU countries. The challenges of waste management, biomass energy, and natural resource depletion can be solved through a unified, adaptable approach within the EU.
The purpose of this study was to explore key factors influencing adoption of Chat Generative Pretrained Transformer (ChatGPT) technology in higher education institutions in China, with a focus on improving educational quality and effectiveness of technology innovation applications. Utilizing the technology-organization-environment framework, a mixed-method approach combining in-depth interviews and surveys was employed to analyze the determinants of technology adoption. The study first conducted a quantitative analysis based on in-depth interviews, followed by a correlation analysis using survey data to identify relationships between variables. Finally, it quantitatively analyzed the predictive role of these factors in adoption of ChatGPT technology. The results indicated that adoption of ChatGPT technology was significantly influenced by multiple factors, including technological characteristics, organizational conditions, and external environment.
Objectives:Korean cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidelines are updated every 5 years. This report presents the major changes and outlines the development process pertaining to the updated 2025 CPR guidelines. Methods:Seven task forces were organized with members nominated by professional societies associated with CPR. Each task force utilized the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation methodology to develop key research questions before conducting systematic evidence reviews. The 2025 CPR guidelines were decided based on the reviewed evidence and discussions to achieve a consensus. Results:The 2025 guidelines include the following major modifications. 1) Rehabilitation and recovery are added to the chain of survival. 2) Dispatchers should be able to instruct the caller on the use of an automated external defibrillator. 3) It is recommended that trained rescuers should initiate rescue breaths in drowning-related cardiac arrests. 4) Double sequential defibrillation or vector change is advised for refractory ventricular fibrillation. 5) The target temperature for post-resuscitation temperature management is revised from 32-36°C to 33-37.5°C. 6) Public-access defibrillation is recommended for children aged ≥1 year. 7) The use of supraglottic airway devices and video laryngoscopy is suggested for neonatal resuscitation. 8) Feedback devices are recommended in CPR training. 9) A first aid section is added to address emergencies associated with cardiac arrest. Conclusions:The CPR guidelines have been revised based on the latest evidence. It is expected that the implementation of these updated guidelines and their inculcation via training programs will improve survival rates in cardiac arrest cases.
