1An Assessment of Cyber Threat Awareness among Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Students and Basic-Education Teachers
    Roland A. Calderon

The objective of this study is to determine the awareness of cyber threat of the teachers of basic education and ICT students in the selected districts of Quezon and Batangas Provinces, Philippines. A descriptive research design was employed to collect data from 106 teachers and 356 ICT students with the help of a structured questionnaire. The instrument contained questions on demographics, experience with cyber threats, technology and social media use, and number of cyber incidents experienced by the respondents. A descriptive and inferential analysis was carried out including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and T-test of independent samples. Findings indicated that most of the teacher participants were females aged between 31 to 40 years and had a postgraduate qualification. Their online activities were largely concentrated on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Overall, the teachers appeared to acknowledge the usefulness of informing end users about routine cyber threats (e.g., malware, phishing, juice jacking, password-related threats). They were less knowledgeable about more technical threats, such as SQL injections or social engineering attacks. Conversely, the majority of the participating ICT students in the study were male and between 16 and 20 years of age. They were certainly very active on social media, but less knowledgeable about cyber threats in general than the teachers. Moreover, the findings indicated that the differences in cyber threat awareness among teachers were influenced by factors like gender and the type of social media platforms they commonly use. These results underscore the significance of customized education and training for teachers and students in cybersecurity Awareness of cyber threats for Development of digital resilience and positive online behavior in the school community.

2FACTORS AFFECTING STUDENTS' SATISFACTION WITH THE QUALITY OF GENETIC AND DISTANCE LEARNING SERVICES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGY
Duong Van Doan, Nguyen Thanh Long, Vu Phi Long, Nguyen Van Tuan, Dao Dac Ly, Ngo Thu Ngoc, Nguyen Mai Huong

This study aims to identify the factors affecting student satisfaction with the quality of distance learning services at the University of Transport Technology. Surveys were distributed to 250 students currently enrolled in the university's distance learning program. Through statistical steps including Cronbach's Alpha reliability assessment, EFA factor analysis, and linear regression, the results show that lecturer quality, course design, and student expectations have a positive correlation, while timely feedback has a negative correlation with student satisfaction regarding the quality of distance learning services. Among these variables, lecturer quality accounts for 25.1%, course design for 29.2%, timely feedback for 14.3%, and student expectations for 27.9%.

3Analisando O TPACK Dos Futuros Professores Nas Filipinas Na Era Pós-Pandemia.

Enquanto isso, o conhecimento tecnológico (TK) e o conhecimento pedagógico (PK) tiveram efeitos positivos moderados e fortes e estatisticamente significativos, respetivamente, no conhecimento pedagógico tecnológico (TPK). Além disso, o conhecimento pedagógico (PK) e o conhecimento de conteúdo (CK) teve efeitos positivos fortes e moderados estatisticamente significativos, respectivamente, no conhecimento pedagógico do conteúdo (PCK). Em seguida, o conhecimento tecnológico do conteúdo (TCK), o conhecimento pedagógico tecnológico (TPK) e o conhecimento pedagógico do conteúdo (PCK) tiveram efeitos positivos moderados estatisticamente significativos no conhecimento tecnológico do conteúdo pedagógico (TPACK).

4Comparative Analysis of Energy Output in Solar Tracking Systems
Ken Erick O. Glorioso, Nathaniel G. Miranda, James Russel A. Rondilla, Zoren P. Mabunga, Maurine C. Panergo, Renato R. Maaliw

The goal of this research was to compare the energy efficiency of three solar tracker systems: Fixed Tilt, LDR-based Dual Axis Tracker, and Programmed Dual Axis Tracker. For practical use, the analysis considered the energy harvested by each system and the energy consumed by the tracking mechanisms. Each setup was constructed from ESP32 microcontrollers, interfaced with voltage/current and orientation sensors for performance data collection. Energy output and motor consumption were recorded over a 15-day period, in a controlled outdoor setup located at a warehouse in Dolores, Quezon, with real-time logging via Google Sheets and SD card backup for offline storage. MATLAB was used for the visualization of energy output in relation to orientation to relate the effect of orientation on the energy output of the tracker system. Results showed that the Fixed Tilt system achieved the highest total net energy output overall, due to its lack of energy-consuming components. However, the Programmed Tracker demonstrated more stable and efficient tracking, occasionally surpassing the Fixed Tilt system in net output, and lastly, the LDR-based tracker frequently exhibited unnecessary movements in response to fluctuating light, leading to increased motor consumption and reduced net energy.

5Smart Bed with Vital Signs Monitoring: ML-Driven Calibration, Agreement Testing, and Reliability Scoring
Maria Lynette P. De Los Santos, Menchie E. Sales, Sheena Danielle R. Yacaba, Maurine C. Panergo, Zoren P. Mabunga, Efren D. Villaverde,Renato R. Maaliw

Technology is growing rapidly, especially in healthcare. Monitoring of vital signs in elderly care is continuously increasing. This study developed a real-time monitoring system using DS18B20 (temperature), MAX30100 (SpO2 and pulse rate), AD8232 (ECG), and a digital blood pressure monitor, with an ESP8266 for wireless transmission to an Arduino Mega 2560. System performance was evaluated using machine learning via linear regression calibration, followed by paired-trial comparisons with standard clinical equipment (n=10 per parameter). To assess agreement, error metrics and Bland–Altman analysis was used, whereas reliability scoring classified readings based on tolerance limits. Results showed the largest deviation in temperature, while pulse rate, SpO2, and blood pressure demonstrated closer agreement and improved after calibration. Application delay due to multi-sensor acquisition remained a noted limitation.
