A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot moves through the bloodstream and becomes lodged in a blood vessel in the lungs. This can make it hard for blood to pass through the lungs to get oxygen. Diagnosing a pulmonary embolism can be difficult because half of patients with a clot in the lungs have no symptoms. Others may experience shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, and possibly swelling in the legs. If you have a pulmonary embolism, you need medical treatment right away to prevent a blood clot from blocking blood flow to the lungs and heart.
Physical culture and sports are still an effective means of rehabilitation and social integration of persons with weakened health. They allow people with disabilities to fully discover all their functional reserves and be active members of society. In this regard, the further development of physical culture and sports work with people with various health problems is very promising. One of the types of such activities is football groups, where children and young people with Down's syndrome are becoming more active. For athletes with a mosaic form of Down's syndrome, it is very important, first of all, that there are conditions for practicing football, that is, a gym with inventory, as evidenced by high marks to the quality of the classes. The use of visual training methods (instructions, drawings, schemes) in training improves the interaction of athletes with the coach, facilitates the assimilation of the training material and thereby increases the motor density of the session. It is clear that the personality of the coach plays the leading role in the training process. From how competently he interacts with his athletes, how attentive to them, how much he carries them into playing sports ultimately depends the result of his activities and the success of the students. It is also very important attention to the success of young athletes with a mosaic form of Down syndrome. Promotion of football among them and their active encouragement for sports success is a serious incentive for their further employment in football and increases the popularity not only of this sport, but also of a healthy lifestyle.
The combination of arterial hypertension and metabolic syndrome causes a whole complex of disorders in the patients' body, contributing to the risk of developing thrombosis in them. In this regard, it is very important to develop a comprehensive therapy for this patient population, which positively influences the activity of platelets, which is an important factor in the formation of thrombophilia in them. The aim of the work is to establish the intensity of the dynamics of platelet aggregation ability and the state of functional capabilities, the individual mechanisms of their determining in patients with arterial hypertension of the third degree in the metabolic syndrome. 24 patients with arterial hypertension of the 3rd degree, risk 4, including 10 men and 14 women of mature age, were under observation. The control group consisted of 25 clinically healthy people of similar age. The surplus platelet activity observed in the in vitro and in vivo patients is based on an increase in the adhesive and aggregation activity of platelets with a weakening of their ability to disaggregate, largely due to an imbalance in their blood pressure and anti-aggregational compounds. The complex therapy, including amlodipine, valsartan, pioglitazone, hypocaloric diet and dose physical exercise, provided patients with arterial hypertension 3 degrees with metabolic syndrome after 4 months. Stable normalization of initially high platelet activity, significantly reducing their risk of developing thrombosis, despite the non-strict compliance with the non-drug component of treatment after 16 weeks of treatment.
The article describes the results of studying the relationship between positive personal qualities and depression, as an antagonist of positive parameters. The following positive characteristics were studied: subjective well-being, happiness, hope, subjective success of activity, the ability to determine life goals, emotional maturity, the ability to comprehend the present, satisfaction with life, desire and initiative for personal growth, inclination to curiosity and research, motivation to seek and understand meaning life, gratitude, satisfaction with marriage. The level of depression was also measured. Positive characteristics and contrasted depression show multiple positive (with depression - negative) correlations among themselves, which indicates a general factor of positivity. A positive person is positive in all spheres of life and at the same time does not show any depressive manifestations. In general, depressivity is antagonistic to a person's positivity.

Background: self-efficacy is the main factor in human behavior showing the extent of an individual's efforts in performing an activity. Strengthening self-efficacy empowers the person to follow and adhere to treatment. Improving selfcare behaviors is of the requirements of strengthening selfefficacy behaviors. Thus, the present study was conducted to determine the effect of self-care education based on Orem's model on self-efficacy in patients with beta thalassemia major. Methods: In this clinical trial, 60 patients with thalassemia who were admitted to Razi Hospital of Saravan were randomly divided into control and intervention groups. Demographic and Sherer's self-efficacy questionnaires were used to collect data. The intervention group was educated for 5 sessions. The control group received routine interventions. The questionnaires were completed again after a month, and data were analyzed using SPSS23. Results: The mean and standard deviation of self-efficacy scores before intervention in intervention and control groups were 42.86 ± 3.24 and 42.80 ± 3.86, respectively, and after intervention 49.16 ± 8.17 and 43.20 ± 4.84, respectively. Statistical variance test with repeated measures showed significant statistical differences between the two groups before and after intervention (p=0.01). Conclusion: The results showed that the use of Orem's selfcare model increased the level of self-care behaviors in these patients. Thus, using Orem's model is recommended as an effective way to promote self-efficacy of patients.

Objective: Fatigue is one of the most disturbing and the most common symptoms reported by patients dialyzed. The aim of this study is comparing Reflexology and stroke massage on fatigue in hemodialysis patients. Methods: This study is quasi-experimental intervention. The subjects included 52 hemodialysis patients who were divided into two groups randomly. The first group received hand reflexology massage and the second group received light stroke back. The before and after of each intervention fatigue were assessed through questionnaires. Data were analyzed with independent t test, chi square test, Fisher's exact test, two-way ANOVA with repeated measures and Bonferroni test. Results: Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant differences between the two groups [p=0.878] but after the intervention fatigue in the group receiving Stroke massage was reduced significantly compared to Reflexology group (P<0.0001). Conclusion: This study showed that the use of Stroke as a nursing intervention to reduce fatigue in dialysis patients is safe, effective and affordable use.
Introduction: Surgery is a common medical practice carried out in many hospitals and one of the most stressful events that may occur during each person's life. Anxiety is commonly seen in children undergoing surgery. Considering the importance of the subject matter, the aim of present research was to compare the effect of two methods of family-centered and child-centered education on preoperative anxiety in children aged 6-12 years. Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study conducted on 70 school-age children undergoing surgery (6-12 years) in Bushehr hospitals. The subjects were selected using quota and simple random sampling methods. The pre and postintervention data were collected using 20- item Spielberger’s State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children, the validity and reliability of which were previously confirmed. The familycentered and child-centered education methods were implemented in the first and second groups, respectively. Data analysis was later carried out using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency) and inferential statistics tests (chi square test, paired t-test and independent t-test) in SPSS vs. 22. Findings: There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of demographic variables. There was not statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of pre-intervention mean anxiety scores (P=0.758); however, the post-intervention anxiety score in the childcentered intervention group was significantly lower than that of the family-centered group (P=0.033).The findings also showed both the above groups reduced the anxiety score in the postintervention phase (P<0.001, P<0.001). Conclusion: The results showed that family-centered and child-centered education methods reduced preoperative anxiety. The child-centered group led to higher reduction in the preoperative anxiety rate than the family-centered group and these interventions should be performed to prepare patients and reduce preoperative anxiety in the treatment centers.
Traumatic injures of talocrural joint can often occur in the children age. They enable to cause long fixation of a joint in a definite position that in turn. Weakens always muscles requires a necessity for rehabilitation. The authors have worked out a method of physical rehabilitation for children after fracture of talocrural joint. This method can be applied under conditions of outpatient’s polyclinic. The given method must be realized in three stages namely: preparation (2 weeks), basic (4 weeks) and closing (2 weeks). The given method consists of invigorating and relaxing exercises plus special ones with choreographic elements directed to developing muscles of food and joint. Appreciating the results of apprising the worked out methodic of physical rehabilitation showed that its effectiveness has exceeded all the results of traditional scheme of rehabilitation after f traumata of talocrural joint. The author’s methodic of physical rehabilitation with applying the choreographic elements enables us (1) to accelerate and enhance the effectiveness of recovering the function of damaged talocrural joint with children, (2) to prevent muscular atrophy from children and (3) to enhance the suppot ability on the extremity (having been damaged before). Effectiveness of the worked out methodic enables the authors (1) to pay attention of a wide circle of professional rehabilitators and (2) to recommend it for application by special experts in their work.
In many countries road crashes are the main cause of mortality. Iran is one of the countries with considerable road traffic injuries. Pre-hospital interventions have an important role in preventing mortalities and disabilities caused by traffic accidents. This study aimed to explore the experiences of personals at emergency pre-hospital posts on traffic injuries in Zabol, Iran. Correction of the condition of children with infantile cerebral paralysis and moderately expressed mental retardation is a serious problem of modern recreation therapy. The goal of this article is to analyze the available information on the most important aspects of mental and motor disturbances in children with infantile cerebral paralysis and moderate mental retardation and to summarize the information on the most effective approaches for the compensation of such disturbances. The work contains information on primary mental and physical problems of mentally challenged children with infantile cerebral paralysis who require active compensation for the arrangement of conditions for the maximum possible health improvement and introduction of such children into the society. The articles deals with main approaches to the correction of psychomotor defects in case of infantile cerebral paralysis which proved to be effective in practice and which can be taken in case of moderate mental retardation. After the analysis of the available information on the problem, it becomes clear that there is still a need for additional development of options for the complex correction of existing disturbances in this category of children. Further development of new methods and the refinement of existing ones can result in the improvement of their health which should ensure the greater degree of their integration into society.
Jaundice is one of the most common neonatal and infantile diseases and the most common cause of hospitalization in neonates and infants; this disorder occurs in 60% of infants and 80% of preterm infants. It is often physiologic and does not require special action, but it can be a sign of an important disease, and if not treated properly, leads to serious and dangerous complications such as Kernicterus (bilirubin deposition in the brain) that causes lifelong disability. One of the reasons for the increase in serum bilirubin levels is the transfer from fetal to infant phase and the temporary inability of the neonate liver to purify the bilirubin from the blood, because bilirubin is excreted by the pair during the fetal period; however, during the neonatal period, bilirubin is excreted by the liver cells and through the biliary and gastrointestinal tract .prolonged jaundice refers to cases where it lasts for more than two weeks in term infants and three weeks in preterm infants .
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and the most common form of cancer among women; it accounts for 18% of all cancers in women. Yoga is helping cancer patients to perform their daily and normal activities, achieve relaxation, lower stress, and improve their quality of life. Although this technique cannot cure cancer, it can provide better feelings and better vision for suffering patients. The present research was conducted in order to study the effect of yoga techniques on the quality of life of women with breast cancer.Method: The present study was conducted by searching keywords, such as yoga, quality of life, breast cancer, and cancer, in various Persian and English databases, including magiran, SID, Google scholars, science direct, and PubMed. Initial search provided several studies on the quality of life of patients with breast cancer and the effect of yoga on the quality of life of different patients, especially cancer patients; then studies that did not have much relevance to the subject matter of the present research were excluded and relative studies were included.Findings: Yoga can increase the overall health of the body and, consequently, the quality of life of the individual through increasing the power of adaptation of psychic, nervous, immune, cognitive, automated nervous system modifications, physical and body stability and immune system modification. Relaxation and releaseof meditation helps to improve the health of the individual, leads to a better feeling in the individual, and thereby improves the quality of life in patients by stabilizing the autonomic nervous system and controlling emotions in yoga. Conclusion: Given that none of the analyzed studies reported any complications for yoga and since yoga is a technique that can be easily applied anywhere, it is highly recommended to train women with breast cancer and other diseases how to implement this technique in order to improve their quality of life and increase their satisfaction.

Thus, it is necessary to think of methods to reduce occupational stress and the subsequent complications.
The massive weight loss often resulted in an excess of loose skin mainly in the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, chest, back, and laterally on the back. Consequently, most patients sought for a solution, provided by the plastic surgery through the body-contouring surgery. Abdominoplasty, arm lift, tight lift, breast lift, and liposuction are all body contouring procedures that aim to reshape the patients’ body. Furthermore, body-contouring surgery can improve the patients’ physical discomfort in daily life, also helping in the maintenance of normal BMI (body mass index) in formerly obese patients, thus having a positive aesthetic and psychosocial outcome. A key component of body contouring after massive weight loss is managing patient expectations. Understanding the risks of body contouring’s procedures is important for patient counseling and the informed consent process. The goal of this study was to perform a literature review concerning the indication, surgical technique, outcomes and complications of body-contouring surgery.
