Naario aimed to offer organic food products to health-conscious individuals. Naario operated on an omnichannel sales and distribution model. It also relied on a significant network of women partners, called Naario partners, for its offline sales. Anamika had embarked on an entrepreneurial venture that guaranteed the availability of nutritious food options for customers and also empowered women to make financial gains. Her greatest dilemma at this moment was whether to focus her energies on motivating the Naario partners and institute measures to ensure their retention or to invest her time to prepare for the forthcoming round of investments.
This study examined the multifaceted effects of financial literacy on the inclusion of economically disadvantaged populations. Structural equation modelling with smart partial least squares (PLS) was employed to analyze the effects of financial literacy on financial inclusion. This study reveals that financial literacy exerts a multi-dimensional influence on households’ financial inclusion below the poverty threshold. Additionally, it indicates that improved access to financial services is correlated with increased usage of these resources. This study shows that access to financial services and financial literacy play a significant role in increasing households’ use of financial products, thereby promoting greater financial inclusion.
International mobility is a growing trend among multinational corporations (MNCs), requiring employees to relocate and adapt to work, social interaction and general environments in foreign host countries. This study investigated everyday adjustment by analyzing data from 214 expatriates in India via structured questionnaires. The research focused on how demographic variables impact daily adaptation. The findings confirm that country of origin, age, gender, family status, family presence and the reason for relocation significantly influence adjustment scores. Understanding these relationships provides vital insights into the specific challenges and opportunities that expatriates face during international assignments.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive two-level analysis of the literature on employee green behaviour in the hospitality industry. It seeks to map current research trends and identify future directions, thereby offering a holistic understanding of the scholarly landscape. Using a two-tier approach, the study integrates bibliometric analysis with thematic content review to capture the breadth and depth of existing academic work across disciplines. A key finding is the interdisciplinary nature of research on green behaviour, which reveals how multiple fields converge on this topic. This study contributes by synthesizing fragmented insights, enhancing the understanding of green behaviour among hospitality employees and outlining new avenues for future inquiry.
This study empirically investigated the impact of strategic human resource (HR) capabilities, HR inducements and their influence on the line manager’s commitment and internalization of HR practices. The results indicate that perceived strategic capability and HR inducements positively influence satisfaction with HR practices. Furthermore, satisfaction with HR practices has a positive relationship with line managers’ commitment and HR internalization. This study uniquely examines the association between perceived strategic capability, satisfaction with HR practices, HR inducements, line managers’ commitment and HR internalization in the Indian context. The study highlights the necessity of creating a perception among employees that their organization has proper strategic HR capabilities and effective HR inducements.
The management of cultural heritage is crucial for optimizing natural, archaeological and cultural resources for tourism development. This study focuses on evaluating Uchuraccay (a village in Peru) residents’ perceptions of this relationship. A survey of 520 respondents examined tangible and intangible heritage aspects, alongside tourism’s environmental, social and economic dimensions. Findings reveal challenges: 38.65% feel that tangible heritage lacks appreciation due to limited public awareness, insufficient conservation funding and limited promotion. Additionally, 40.96% believe that intangible heritage suffers from inadequate management and preservation policies. These insights underscore the necessity for cultural heritage assessments to enhance economic growth through targeted tourism strategies.
Rooted in the congruity theory perspective, this study investigates the role of value congruity and self-image congruity in moderating the relationship between the perceived opportunity to craft and job crafting behaviour and, concomitantly, thriving at work. Data gathered from 426 employees of the Indian retail banking sector formed the basis of empirical testing. The results indicated that the perceived opportunity to craft significantly ameliorates job crafting, which, in turn, enhances thriving at work. Additionally, value congruity and self-image congruity intensify the positive impact of perceived opportunity to craft on job crafting.
Insolvency professionals play key roles, such as resolution professionals, bankruptcy trustees and liquidators. They facilitate the implementation of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), ensuring efficiency, transparency and credibility. The core objectives of IBC—resolution and maximization of value—are realized through corporate restructuring and asset recovery, led by insolvency professionals. However, limited academic attention has been given to the practical challenges, which this article examines through a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with insolvency professionals and analysed. Key challenges include regulatory complexity, information gaps, valuation issues, creditor negotiations, structural ambiguity and reputation risks. The findings suggest areas for policy improvement.
This case describes a delay in the procurement of crawler dozers, a type of heavy earth-moving machinery, by a public sector undertaking of the Government of India in the mining sector. The chronology of events over 6 years highlights the underlying factors, including procrastination in initiating the procurement process, the time taken to prepare technical specifications, complaints from bidders and multiple-tiered queries. The most important learning outcome is that while arbitrary decisions are discouraged in any procurement, procrastination in decision-making should be equally discouraged. The case underlines the necessity of extensive, all-embracing standard operating procedures or definite guidelines.

Digital payments have emerged as the predominant payment method in India since the introduction of the unified payments interface (UPI) in 2016. This study investigates how this digital transformation has impacted the ease-of-doing business for people residing in rural India. We conduct a computational thematic analysis using a topic modelling technique to analyse unstructured feedback given by sole-ownership-type entrepreneurs operating in the unorganized labour market in rural India to identify the beneficial aspects of UPI on their businesses. The analysis reveals that UPI users appreciate the ease of transactions, unconstrained access to funds, wider reach of customers and transparent monetary transactions.
This study aims to identify the factors that influence the decision of companies to go public in Sri Lanka, where many qualified companies remain private despite meeting the listing requirements. The data are collected through a survey, and the analysis is conducted using exploratory factor analysis, binary logistic regression and structural equation modelling. The findings reveal that financing for future growth at a lower cost of capital, corporate image and liquidity, ownership and control rights, market establishments, company size, age and sector impact the decisions, while information and compliance costs and market efficiency do not.

The digital revolution has significantly contributed towards the growth of online retail, and logistics play a pivotal role in the online retail loop. This study utilizes the dynamic capability view theory to understand the role of anticipating and seizing opportunities, innovative practices, environmental pressures and logistics 4.0 on the performance of an organization. The study utilizes a mixed-method research approach wherein focus group discussions were conducted prior to the quantitative study. A mediation was observed on the two attributes of the dynamic capability view theory, whereas no mediation was observed for the third attribute. The study adds to the knowledge on logistics capabilities and has important managerial implications.
This paper attempts to examine how startups improve the performance of students and influence their affective elements towards studies. We chose the K-12 sector as it is the largest sector of edtech. We targeted the top three startup capitals of the country but due to insufficient responses, data majorly originates from Mumbai. Descriptive statistics and non-parametric tests were utilised. The tests validate the presence of a statistically significant difference between the median scores of the students’ pre and post- edtech intervention scores. In addition, this paper found that extended use of apps has improved the psychological attributes of students.
