
AbstractIn recent times, amidst the backdrop of globalization, organizations are compelled to strategically manage their resources, focusing on those that could foster competitive growth. Intellectual capital, particularly the human resource asset, is deemed critical for organizational advancement. This research investigates the relationship between job satisfaction (JS) and organizational commitment (OC) in a private sector bank, Axis Bank. Job satisfaction, defined as the positivity an employee feels toward their work, and organizational commitment, characterized by loyalty and engagement towards organizational goals, are pivotal constructs in human resource management (HRM) and organizational behavior (OB). After thoroughly reviewing existing literature and empirical research on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, proceeded to conduct primary research by administering a structured questionnaire. This questionnaire, developed based on established standardized measures and insights from the literature review, underwent a successful pilot test to confirm its validity and reliability. Following this, the finalized questionnaire was distributed according to a predetermined sampling plan. Subsequently, the collected data from diverse respondent groups were analyzed using statistical tools and the SPSS-2021 software, allowing for a comprehensive examination of the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment within the study's framework and ensuring the credibility of the results obtained. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analyses, this study explores how job satisfaction influences organizational commitment among employees in the Axis Bank. The findings contribute to enhancing HRM practices and emphasize the importance of fostering job satisfaction to bolster organizational commitment, addressing a significant gap in existing research.
AbstractThe present study was conducted in shekan locality during the period (2017-2018), this study investigates the factors influencing students' writing in English Language at secondary school, The problem of the Study was that the students are unable to write a composition, a paragraph or correct sentence. The objective of the study to identify the factors effective teaching approaches should use to improve Students' writing skills. The study adopted the descriptive statistical analytical approach. The simple random sample of 40 secondary school teachers were selected from the total population 120 teachers of English language in Shekan locality. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to the teachers and the collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS- version 16 using chi- square test for independence- the survey found that 85.5% of the respondents said that some teachers are still un trained, and the vast majority of the respondents represented 95% stated that overcrowded class also consider as a reason of deterioration of writing at secondary level, 82% believed that increase five English lessons per week instead of four English lessons per week in addition to the lack of teaching aids have stated by 85% of the respondents, the study concluded that knowing grammar and correct spelling, That facilitate writing English Language. The study recommended that all the activities of writing should be taught properly in the classroom. Teacher and student should be aware of importance of good writing. Also increasing lessons per week, teaching aids should be added at secondary schools.
AbstractThe current study conducted in El-Obied Town during the period (2018-2020). The problem of the study was that the secondary schools students face difficulties in reading English Language, so they do not understand the meaning of the texts. The study came as an attempt to indicate the objectives that determined the effective teaching techniques should be used to develop students reading skill. According to the nature of the study and depending on problem being studied the research conductor has followed descriptive statistical analytical method, on which the data collected from primary sources. The simple random sample used was (65)teachers selected from total population (186) English Language teachers in secondary schools (Shikan Locality). Questionnaire was designed and distributed to the teachers, checked sample composed of (15)items. Data were selected where the reliability test was conducted in (SPSS) program version (20) therefore the questionnaire statements were reliable. The results demonstrated that (61) teachers representing 93% of the respondents agreed with the opinion that teachers play a big role in developing students reading skill. And (60) teachers equal 92%agreed that students need encouragement to develop reading skill. There were (54) of the respondents representing 83% who agreed with the statement that teachers chosen good strategies to develop students reading skill, also respondents agreed that Audio-Visual tools have an effective role in developing students reading skill. At last the research conductor recommended that students have to undertake intensive reading as a technique for practicing reading and using Audio-Visual tools as one of today’s technologies that provide amazing aid for both teachers and students. With proven results it considered as a good opportunity to investigate in the methods and techniques that can lead to develop reading skill for students.
Ever since the beginning of population data recording started in India, it was evident that there was always a deficit of women over men in number. Over the span of 110 years, this deficit of female population has increases, i.e., number of women per 1000 men has come down from 972 in 1901 to 933 in 2001 and after hundred years, it has started an increasing trend by 7 points i.e., to 940 in 2011. Andhra Pradesh has a starting figure of 985 females per 1000 males in the year 1901 while at the national level, the sex ratio was 972. This difference of a better than the national sex ratio was maintained all through the century. Five districts in Telangana region namely Medak, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddi, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, three districts in Rayalaseema region Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur and only Prakasam district from Andhra region still remain below the state average sex ratio in 2001 and 2011 Census. During 19812011, the child sex ratio has declined by 48 points in India. The census data indicates that the child sex ratio is faring better in Andhra Pradesh than that of all India level for the last six census years i.e., from 1961–2011. Rangareddi in Telangana region, Guntur and Nellore districts from coastal Andhra region were above the state average child sex ratio in 2011 and were below state average in 2001. There were nine districts ‘viz’ Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal, Prakasam, Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur and Chittoor districts came above the state average in 2011 and those were below the state average in 2001. As many as 264 (57%) mandals have reported below the State average (943) child sex ratio in Telangana region, 154 (38%) mandals in Coastal Andhra and 161 (69%) mandals found lowest child sex ratio in Rayalaseema region in 2011 Census.
