I develop a conceptual framework based on a systematic and com-prehensive literature review on COVID-19 threat perceptions and vaccine hesitancy in relation to safety and efficacy concerns. Building my argument by drawing on data collected from de Beaumont, DHL, ICF, KFF, and McKinsey, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding COVID-19 vaccine attitudes and behavior. The data for this research were gathered via an online survey questionnaire. Descrip-tive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate. © 2021, Addleton Academic Publishers. All rights reserved.
There is a leadership crisis in the United States and much of the world. Scholars have been examining spiritual texts from both the Eastern and Western traditions to find ways to incorporate transcendent values into management and leadership. This paper will examine the Hebrew Bible and examine what it has to say about leadership. Important biblical figures from Abraham to Esther will be analyzed to see what can be learned from them about leadership.
. Despite the relevance of COVID-19 vaccine education in relation to vaccine hesitancy attitudes and preventive behavior adherence, only limited research has been conducted on this topic. Using and replicating data from APA, AP-NORC, Gallup, ICF, Kaiser Family Foundation, KFF, McKinsey, Medscape, Statista, Washington Post, and YouGov, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding COVID-19 vaccine hesitance and resistance. The results of a study based on data collected from 5,800 respondents provide support for our research model. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
Employing recent research results covering consumer satisfaction judgments, behavior patterns, and purchase intentions during the COVID-19 pandemic, and building our argument by drawing on data collected from AlixPartners, Criteo, Deloitte, and McKinsey, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding how the COVID-19 pandemic may alter food purchases and retail grocery sales permanently, influencing consumers to adopt sustainable shopping behaviors and thus possibly improving their satisfaction and quality of life. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
Empirical evidence on underlying values that motivate behavioral intentions and purchase decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic has been scarcely documented in the literature. Using and replicating data from Deloitte, the European Commission, EY, GWI, and Worldpay/FIS, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding how risk of contracting COVID-19 by frequent trips to supermarket and irrational buying behaviors in terms of frequency and quantity have led to online grocery delivery services being swiftly adopted on a large scale. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
With growing evidence of COVID-19 mandatory vaccination policies, immunization coverage rate, and containment measures, there is an essential demand for comprehending whether mandatory vaccination can be a practical and adequate tool intended for intensifying the immunization coverage rate and thus less containment measures. In this research, prior findings were cumulated indicating that COVID-19 mandatory vaccination policies can ensure increased levels of immunization coverage. We carried out a quantitative literature review of ProQuest, Scopus, and the Web of Science throughout February and April 2021, with search terms including "COVID-19 mandatory vaccination," "COVID-19 vaccine rollout," "COVID-19 vaccine acceptance," and "COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy." As we analyzed research published in 2021, only 226 papers met the eligibility criteria. By eliminating controversial or unclear findings (insufficient/irrelevant data), results unsubstantiated by replication, too imprecise or undetailed content, and studies having quite similar titles, we decided on 29, mainly empirical, sources. Subsequent analyses should develop on COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on consumer tastes, sentiments, attitudes, and behaviors related to COVID-19. Using and replicating data from Ipsos, KPMG, Roland Berger & Potloc, Salesforce, Worldpay/FIS, and YouGov, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding how consumers have modified their retail grocery purchasing behavior throughout the COVID-19 lockdown, reorganizing their standard of living and preferences and assimilating knowledge in relation to innovation and creativity by use of technological and digital formats. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
This article presents an empirical study carried out to evaluate and analyze consumer cognition, perception, sentiment, choice, and decision-making during the COVID-19 pandemic. Building our argument by drawing on data collected from Accenture, Harris Interactive, Kantar, KPMG, KuRunData, McKinsey, Toluna, and Worldpay/FIS, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding how the COVID-19 crisis is impacting where and how individuals get in supplies and consume as panic buying and stockpiling behaviors struggled against staples purchase ambivalence. Data collected from 9,400 respondents are tested against the research model. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
Despite the relevance of COVID-19-related misinformation, only limited research has been conducted on this topic Using and replicating data from Flixed, Gallup, GlobalWebIndex, Knight Foundation, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, and The University of Canberra, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding fabricated and unverified content on social media The results of a study based on data collected from 4,200 respondents provide support for my research model Using the structural equation modeling, I gathered and analyzed data through a self-administrated questionnaire
Empirical evidence on COVID-19 vaccine safety regulation has been scarcely documented in the literature Using and replicating data from Abacus Data, Carleton University, ICF, and Pew Research Center, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding globalized infectious diseases, health literacy, and anti-immunization sentiment Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling
The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on the proliferation of COVID-19 misinformation and fake news Using and replicating data from Gallup, Knight Foundation, Ofcom, Pew Research Center, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, and University of Canberra, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding constant exposure to mainstream journalism and social media coverage of COVID-19 pandemic Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling
The purpose of this study was to empirically examine threat perceptions of COVID-19 pandemic Building my argument by drawing on data collected from Kantar, Pew Research Center, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Statista, and University of Canberra, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding the relationship between news discernment, media exaggeration, and misleading information The structural equation modeling technique was used to test the research model
“Knowing a Language” addresses a topic that has received attention especially in the analytical branches of language philosophy. First, the paper discusses some prominent analytical observations as well as selected positions in semiotics, semiology, and linguistics before turning to a post-Husserlian response by way of a description of the intentional acts that we cannot but perform when we use language. The holistic, eidetic portrait of language that emerges is conceived within Husserl’s extended meaning chain, stretching from nonverbal meaning intention and its pre-syntactic categorial relations via their displacement by merely verbal sense, Husserl’s Bedeutung, to their nonverbal, vividly imaginable, proximate reconstruction in Husserl’s Sinn. Meanings are viewed as neither public nor private, but rather as indirectly public on the grounds that they combine of necessity individual instantiations of expressions under the communal coercion of the linguistic linkage compulsion. Thus, the paper provides an alternative explanation of what is involved in knowing how to link the sounds of linguistic utterances with community-sanctioned meanings.
Employing recent research results covering fake news content shaping the COVID-19 pandemic fear, and building our argument by drawing on data collected from Gallup, GlobalWebIndex, Knight Foundation, Ofcom, Pew Research Center, Public Knowledge, Statista, and University of Canberra, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding the relationship between virus anxiety, emotional contagion, and responsible media reporting Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the collected data
I distinguish 20th century Constructivists (e.g. Goodman, Putnam) whose anti-Realism is global and is motivated by epistemic and semantic concerns about Realism from 21st century Constructivists (e.g. Einheuser, Goswick, Sidelle) whose anti-Realism is local and is motivated by specific metaphysical concerns about modality. I argue that the 21st century Constructivist program is plausible in a way the 20th century Constructivist program is not. In particular, I argue that 21st century Constructivism is immune to the anti- Constructivist arguments Devitt presents in Truth and Realism.
