Sport applications (Apps) exert significant influence on users' attitudes and behavioural patterns by virtue of their convenience, accessibility, social engagement, and goal-setting features. This study aims to explore the impact of sports Apps on users' attitudes and behaviours towards sports. Questionnaires were administered, and statistical analyses were conducted, gathering 273 responses. K-test and T-test methodologies were employed. Participants, users of sports Apps, were surveyed to examine how their integration into the virtual communities within these Apps affects their attitudes and behavioural habits towards sports. Findings indicate that the extent of integration into sports Apps significantly correlates with users' attitudes towards physical exercise and their behavioural habits. Deeper integration corresponds with increased activity levels and the establishment of more robust exercise routines across various dimensions. The study suggests that developers should enhance the content of sports and fitness Apps continuously, improving their scientific accuracy. Furthermore, active individuals engaging in physical exercise are encouraged to utilize sports and fitness Apps fully, leveraging their functionalities to enrich their fitness pursuits and cultivate a positive attitude towards sports.
This study explores the influence of various leadership styles of sports leaders on entrepreneurship and organizational commitment among sports participants. It specifically investigates how these relationships differ based on the type of sport (individual versus group sports) and the age group (minors versus adults). The study used a quantitative research design and collected data from 400 participants involved in various sports activities in Korea via a cross-sectional survey method. To evaluate the variables, the study utilized the Leadership Scale for Sports (LSS) along with validated scales for entrepreneurship and organizational commitment. An analysis was conducted to examine the relationships and moderating effects of different sports and age. The research reveals that behaviours associated with different leadership styles have a significant impact on entrepreneurship, with variations observed depending on the type of sport and age. Consistent predictors of organizational commitment were found to be social support, while the impact of positive feedback varied depending on the context. The training instruction's results did not have a significant impact on either outcome. In order to effectively promote entrepreneurship and organizational commitment, the study suggests customizing leadership in sports to suit the unique context and demographic. It highlights the significance of employing adaptive leadership strategies in sports education and management. These findings have practical applications for sports leaders who want to improve team performance and foster loyalty.
The purpose of this paper is to test the "double-edged sword" effect of hosting major sporting events. This paper took 18 major sports events held in China from 2007 to 2021 as subjects of quasi-natural experiment, and adopted a Propensity Score Matching Differences in Differences (PSM-DID) method to study the influence of hosting these events on the performance of listed companies in host place based on the panel data of these companies from 2010 to 2021, thereby figuring out the "double-edged sword" effect of hosting major sports events. Our research findings suggest that, hosting major sports events is significantly negatively correlated with the performance of listed companies in host place, and such correlation has passed multiple robustness tests; heterogeneous analysis shows that, hosting major sports events has a negative influence on the performance of state-owned companies and a slight positive influence on the performance of private-owned companies; in terms of companies engaging in different industries, the influence on the performance of listed companies in tourism, real estate, and industry is significantly negative; overall speaking, regardless of international-level or national-level events, hosting such events will pull down the performance of listed companies; in loss-reporting companies, such negative influence on their performance will be amplified, which might worsen their situations further. Therefore, the host place should allocate resources reasonably and effectively and give full play to the role of major sports events in promoting the development of its Industries.

This research centres on college students and investigates the influence of diverse physical exercise regimens on distinct facets of their mental well-being. Prior scholarship indicates a positive correlation between physical exercise and the mental health enhancement of college students. Physical exercise has been shown to regulate emotions, bolster mental well-being. and mitigate anxiety and depression. Consequently, the primary aim of this study was to scrutinize the impact of physical education on augmenting the mental health of college students within the framework of curriculum ideology and politics. This academic inquiry delves into the ramifications of engaging in three distinct sports activities-basketball, taijiquan, and cheerleading-on the mental well-being of female collegiate participants. The study scrutinizes the impact of exercise duration, exercise cycle, and exercise frequency on various psychological health parameters. Data were meticulously organized and subjected to analysis through the statistical software SPSS 11.5. Employing t-tests and one-way ANOVA, the study examines the psychological health indicators across the three distinct exercise programs, discerning the significance of disparities therein. Upon comparing the psychological health statuses of students before and after engaging in Taijiquan exercises, notable variances emerged across four dimensions: anxiety, terror, paranoia, and psychosis. Particularly noteworthy were the substantial disparities observed in the paranoia dimension. Cheerleading, a sport amalgamating dance and physical fitness set to music, serves as a fervently embraced pursuit among students, symbolizing zeal, youthfulness, and vivacity. Implications and engaging in basketball, Taijiquan, and cheerleading exercises has been found to be efficacious in alleviating anxiety levels among college students. Taijiquan, in particular, exhibits a distinctive efficacy in ameliorating paranoid tendencies, while cheerleading exercises manifest a superior spectrum of improvement factors compared to basketball and Taijiquan routines. Tailoring physical exercise programs to college students' age, gender, and psychological predispositions is imperative for optimizing mood enhancement and overall mental well-being. Individual psychological needs may vary across different time periods, underscoring the importance of selecting appropriate exercise modalities accordingly. Integration of these exercise regimens into university physical education curricula necessitates an augmented allocation of instructional hours, facilitating students' acquisition of requisite skills for autonomous exercise. Segmented psychological counselling and physical exercise exert a beneficial influence on narrative psychology, fostering enhanced comprehension and reconstruction of personal narratives among individuals. Consequently, this facilitates the advancement of psychological well-being and developmental processes. A retrospective analysis was undertaken to identify 50 young and middle-aged patients exhibiting mild depression. These patients were subsequently randomized into two groups: an observation group and a control group, each comprising 25 cases. The control group received standard medication treatment, while the observation group received additional psychological counselling and exercise alongside standard medication, mirroring the treatment protocol of the control group. Regarding self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, the participants in the experimental cohort demonstrated notable improvements following the intervention, suggesting that engagement in taekwondo sports can effectively enhance self-esteem and bolster the mental health status of middle school students. The novelty of the research lies in uncovering the combined influence of segmental psychological guidance and exercise on narrative psychology. This innovative approach provides a distinct method for fostering personal development and enhancing well-being by amalgamating cognitive and physical interventions. Implications and Taekwondo exercise demonstrates a greater efficacy in diminishing depression compared to anxiety among middle school students. Hence, the combination of segmental psychological counselling and exercise is more beneficial in alleviating depression levels and fostering students' willingness to engage in active psychological narration. The research objective was to check the corrective effect of ideological and moral education on the negative psychology of female students in physical education. The study involved three groups of female students: a regular teaching group, a 6- week exercise group, and a 12-week exercise group. The exercise intervention plan included secondary public aerobics, with controlled exercise intensity through heart rate indicators. The results of the study revealed that, before the experiment, there were no significant differences in the inhibitory function, conversion function, and refresh function components among the groups, indicating homogeneity. However, after the exercise interventions, significant improvements were observed in the inhibitory function in both the 6-week and 12-week exercise groups compared to the regular teaching group. Similarly, the 12-week exercise group showed a significant improvement in conversion function compared to the conventional teaching group. Moreover, the refresh function also exhibited significant improvement in the 12-week exercise group compared to the conventional teaching group. The findings suggest that continuous physical exercise, with moderate intensity lasting for 12 weeks, coupled with ideological and moral education, can be beneficial in enhancing psychological regulation functions among female college students. These results hold practical implications for incorporating targeted exercise interventions and educational approaches in physical education to promote students' psychological well-being. However, future research with more diverse samples and longer-term interventions is warranted to further validate and extend these findings because future research could be explored to other countries.
This study examines the impact of public policy, specifically health policy, on sports promotion and support. This analysis explores the impact of healthcare policies on sports activities and the significance of public policy in enhancing population health. It evaluates policies across different countries and sectors to determine their effectiveness. The study employs various research methods, including policy analysis, case studies, and secondary data analysis, to offer a comprehensive view of policy effects. The findings indicate that healthcare policies play a vital role in promoting sports. Health insurance, healthcare promotional campaigns, and the construction of appropriate sports facilities all have a significant impact on sports participation levels. Through the implementation of comprehensive sports promotion policies, there was a notable 7.3 percentage point increase observed over a span of five years. The study also emphasises the secondary impacts, such as a slight decrease in healthcare expenses and enhanced approaches to tackling chronic illnesses and mental health concerns. The study highlights the effectiveness of policy interventions, such as the national fitness policy in Nordic countries and South Korea, which emphasise the use of multidisciplinary approaches. This study investigates the influence of sports activities on English Language Learning Motivation (ELLM), with a particular focus on how interaction and cooperation within these activities impact students in multilingual environments. Data were collected through surveys administered to 150 students who engaged in sports as part of their ELLM program. Leveraging theories of the interaction hypothesis and cooperative learning, the research examines how real-life communication scenarios in sports such as teamwork, game instructions, and peer interactions-offer authentic opportunities for language use. These experiences are shown to significantly enhance students motivation to learn English by increasing language usage frequency and boosting confidence. The study also explores the distinct challenges and opportunities presented by multilingual contexts, demonstrating how sports activities can act as a dynamic tool to mitigate language anxiety and facilitate language acquisitions The results reveal moderate to strong positive correlations between teamwork (r = 0.65) , game instructions (r = 0.7) arld peer interactions (r = 0.75) with ELLM. ANOVA results indicate significant variations in motivation related to participation in teamwork ( F(2, 96) = 12.45 , p < 0.01 ), game instructions (F (2, 97) = 9.32 P = 0.0002 , and peer interactions (F 2.97) 14.67 p < 0.0001 . However, post-hoc analysis suggests that while peer interactions positively affect motivation, the effects of teamwork, game instructions, and peer interactions on motivation do not differ statistically. The objective of this study is to conduct a thorough assessment of the psychometric properties and measurement consistency of the Behavioural Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2 in a sample of adolescents from Mainland China. This research project involves recruiting 350 middle and high school students to conduct a thorough assessment of internal consistency and discriminant Validity. The methods used include confirmatory factor analysis and multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, the study examines the consistency of these measures among various genders and educational backgrounds. The findings indicated that the students' motivation levels were moderately high, as evidenced by the internal consistency coefficients ranging from 0.818 to 0,903 for the subscales. the confirmatory factor analysis provided strong evidence for a 5-factor structure, as indicated by the satisfactory fit indices (CFI=0.972, RMSEA=(0.046). Also, the measurement invariance test demonstrated the stability of the factors across various genders and academic group (ACFI <0.01), The results of this study confirm the effectiveness of the Behavioural Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire 2 at a valuable tool for evaluating exercise motivation regulation among young individuals in Mainland China. This reinforces the tools usefulness for future scholarly research as well as its practical application in educational and developmental settings.
The study investigates the factors influencing decision-making intentions for sports tourism destinations, employing the theoretical frameworks of perceived value and destination image. Utilizing an online survey and purposive sampling methodology, researchers obtained 417 valid questionnaires from tourists with experience in sports tourism in Chengdu. The collected data were subsequently analysed employing structural equation modelling techniques. Functional value, social value, and emotional value-representing the three dimensions of perceived value-positively impact attitudes and intentions toward sports tourism in Chengdu. Furthermore, the perceived destination image of sports events, encompassing both cognitive and affective aspects, exerts a comparable influence. Additionally, attitude toward sports. tourism functions as a significant mediator in this relationship. This research contributes to the theoretical development of perceived value and perceived destination image within the context of sports tourism decision-making. The results provide crucial recommendations for Chengdu to bolster its sports tourism sector.

This underscores the pressing need for colleges and universities to bolster the cultivation of psychological resilience among the new generation of college students through ideological and political education. Consequently, enhancing students capacity to withstand pressure, fostering teamwork and interpersonal communication skills, and nurturing psychological resilience as a secondary personality trait become imperative objectives. Therefore, the study aims to investigate the role of sports spirit within ideological and political teaching in cultivating students psychological resilience. This study examines the effects of an ideological and political curriculum program on 102 freshmen and sophomores at a university. The program integrates human education motivation (teacher and group education motivation) and physical education motivation into the curriculum. Psychological resilience among college students, comprising factors such as motivation, positive cognition, teacher support, and interpersonal support, is assessed. Throughout the program, human and material education factors serve as driving forces, creating a comprehensive network of ideological and political education within and beyond the classroom, fostering character development through direct and indirect education methods. The judgment coefficient R2 ranged from 0.513 to 0.575, and R2=0.42 showed that there was a certain linear correlation between the variables. Regular exercise is essential for maintaining physical and psychological well-being, particularly among individuals with disabilities. One cannot overstate the importance of safety during sports participation, as it directly impacts exercise adherence and overall health outcomes for this population. This study sought to assess the effects of safety management education on exercise adherence among disabled swimming club participants. It also examined how their sports participation experiences may influence these effects. Through the use of hierarchical regression analysis, structured questionnaires were administered to carers, resulting in data collected from 491 respondents. The results showed that education in safety management has a significant positive impact on athletic performance, exercise habits, and the overall environment. In addition, participating in sports had a positive impact on exercise adherence by enhancing cognitive and behavioural experiences. The presence oo disabled participants clearly demonstrated the need for customised safety education and engagement strategies. The study emphasises the importance of providing thorough safety management education and creating positive sports participation experiences to encourage long-term exercise commitment among disabled individuals. Further investigation should prioritise examining the lasting impacts of these interventions and determining the key factors that have the greatest impact on participants' commitment, thus safeguarding the overall health and well-being of individuals with disabilities by promoting ongoing involvement in sports.
This study is a randomised controlled trial that aims to investigate the impact of different levels of contextual interference (blocked, increasing, and random) on basketball skill performance in male college students. A sample of 106 male college students, who were in good health and had no prior basketball experience, were randomly divided into three groups: blocked schedule (BS), increasing schedule (IS), and random schedule (RS). During a nine-week period, all groups received training in basketball skills, including shooting, dribbling, and passing. Each group adhered to a unique practice schedule. The assessment of skill performance included a pre-test, Post-test 1 (Skill acquisition test), Post-test 2 (Skill retention test), and Post-test 3 (Skill transfer test). The first three tests shared similar content and scoring criteria, while the skill transfer test presented novel challenges. The statistical significance level was defined as p<0.05. An initial analysis utilising Mixed-Design Repeated Measure MANOVA indicated significant differences among the three groups in relation to all basketball skill scores (p<0.05). The BS group demonstrated superior performance compared to the IS and RS groups in shooting (FT:17.01 +/- 1.52), dribbling (SD:8.39 +/- 1.62), and passing (CP:3.60 +/- 1.01) during the skill acquisition test. However, the IS group demonstrated better performance in shooting (FT:16.26 +/- 1.82), dribbling (SD:7.52 +/- 0.72), and passing (CP:2.91 +/- 0.89) in the skill retention test compared to the BS and RS groups. The results of the one-way MANOVA analysis on post-test 3 indicated that the IS group performed significantly better in the skill transfer test (SS:19.89 +/- 2.86, CD:11.25 +/- 0.78, and RP:41.86 +/- 2.84) compared to the BS and RS groups (p<0.05). The results indicate that a higher frequency of practice sessions leads to improved basketball skills in beginners, particularly during the skill retention and transfer stages. The IS schedule is an effective method for improving basketball skills.
The global rise in sedentary lifestyles and deteriorating mental health among youth presents a significant concern. Sport motivation in young individuals is recognized as a catalyst for fostering a positive attitude towards regular physical activity and sports participation. However, anxiety contributes to a lack of motivation for engaging in these activities. Life satisfaction, a component of subjective well-being, in the context of sports, has the potential to enhance an individual's quality of life by offering a stabilizing activity that promotes achievement, success, and happiness. The primary objective of this study was to analyse the overall life satisfaction of young soccer players and to understand its impact on their emotional well-being and sporting performance, considering the motivational factors and anxiety that influence them. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted involving 495 young soccer players from Spain, aged 11 to 18 years. The sample comprised 285 boys and 210 girls, with a mean age of 15 years. Significant differences were observed across all items of the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) based on gender (with higher scores in boys) and academic cycle (with higher scores in the first cycle). On the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), gender differences were noted in Trait Anxiety, which was higher in females. Additionally, significant differences were found in both State Anxiety and Trait Anxiety when considering the academic cycle, with second-cycle students exhibiting lower levels of anxiety. Regarding the dimensions of the Sport Motivation Scale/Emotional Measures of Development (SMS/EMD), significant differences were identified in intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, and amotivation based on gender, with boys scoring higher than girls. In terms of demographic location, only intrinsic motivation for experiencing stimuli was higher in urban settings, while amotivation. was more prevalent in rural areas. Cycle differences were observed solely in the intrinsic motivation dimension, favouring second-cycle students. Furthermore, an inverse correlation was noted between anxiety and amotivation, indicating that as anxiety and amotivation increase, life satisfaction tends to decrease. This research provides valuable insights into how anxiety and motivation influence the lives of young athletes. The findings indicate that increased demotivation and anxiety are associated with decreased life satisfaction among the subjects studied. This information can be instrumental for coaches and the broader environment of young athletes, enabling them to address these aspects effectively. By fostering a better understanding of the impact of anxiety and motivation, stakeholders can enhance athletes' mental health and ensure sustained adherence to sports, thereby promoting a high level of life satisfaction.
In recent years, there has been a marked increase in the use of the internet and internet-based systems. This study aims to explore the relationship between digital stress and career stress among students in the Faculty of Sports Sciences at I & gbreve;d & imath;r University. A survey model was employed, with the research population comprising students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at I & gbreve;d & imath;r University. The sample included 446 voluntary participants (270 female and 176 male). Statistical analyses were conducted using the SPSS 25.0 software, employing both descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. The findings indicate that both digital stress and career stress scores among sports science students were above average. Furthermore, a highly significant positive correlation was found between digital stress and career stress levels.
