This paper examines how Large Language Model (LLM) chatbots are incorporated into Wuhan’s private undergraduate education. It evaluates the dependability of AI-generated information using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and emphasizes the significance of fostering critical thinking in Private Higher Education (PHE). The results point to a deficiency in critical thinking education as underclassmen appear to rely too much on chatbots. Less interaction with AI technologies is seen among arts students, which may indicate a mismatch with their creative requirements. The report criticizes China’s PHE for its profit-driven strategy and poor faculty development, and it makes recommendations for changes that would encourage responsible AI use, protect educational rights, and encourage critical thinking.

The role of new mainstream films in the dissemination of mainstream values has become more and more prominent in the context of new media, and college students, as one of the audiences of new mainstream films, also play an important role as the disseminators of mainstream culture. Using the grounded theory as a guide, 20 students from a university in the western region were selected as samples, and semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted. Nvivo12 Plus software was used to sort out and integrate the interview data, to refine the relevant concepts and categories, and to construct a model of the influence mechanism of new mainstream films on the cultural identities of students in western universities. The study finds that the evolution of new mainstream films on the cultural identity of college students in western universities can be divided into four stages: In terms of film dissemination: technological empowerment, promoting cultural waves; In terms of plot setting: rooted in reality, shaping positive cognition; In terms of cultural expression: subtle influence, enhance character cultivation; In terms of far-reaching impact: innovative expression, planting the seeds of culture. Grasping the internal logic of the mechanism is not only conducive to the dissemination of the mainstream value kernel of the film, but also to the cultivation of the socialist core values of young college students as well as the deeper cultural identity of the country.
With the rapid development of contemporary society, the diversification of architectural forms is increasing day by day. As an integral component of architectural art, murals play an indispensable role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of urban architecture, elevating visual impact, and enriching traditional architectural decoration styles. In large part, modern mural artists focus their creations on specific building planes or curved surfaces while striving for seamless integration between mural design and architectural spaces. However, research on the relationship between architectural space form and mural design often remains limited to partial expressions with few studies exploring multi-dimensional external building murals. The multifaceted relationship between frescoes and architecture highlights that fresco itself is a spatial art form. This paper primarily examines the wall murals at Luo Zhongli Art Museum to study their interface with architectural spaces, analyzing various conversion forms, methods, and unique characteristics of these interfaces.

National memorial architecture serves as a testament to civilization, embodying and perpetuating a nation’s culture, values, and identity. It facilitates the preservation of historical events or memories for future generations to reference while symbolising national pride and unity. However, the conservation of such monuments currently faces numerous challenges, including the impact of unforeseeable forces, excessive tourism, and inadequate funding. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a solution utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies for digital preservation. BIM enables comprehensive data collection of commemorative structures, while VR provides immersive virtual experiences, enhancing public understanding and engagement with these monuments. Using the People’s Heroes Memorial Tower in Zhangcun, Siming Mountain Martyrs Cemetery, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, as a case study, this paper demonstrates the entire process of digital preservation and explores the potential applications of these technologies in safeguarding national memorial architecture.
