    1Standardization of MSF Agile Methodology with the Use of ISO/IEC 24744
    V. Chabaniuk, O. Dyshlyk

    Thepaperproposesthestandardizationofthesoftwaredevelopmentmethodology MSFAgile. It made byusingthemetamodelof software developmentmethodologiesfromtheISO/IEC24744standard.Original of MSF Agile named MSF for Agile Software Development and denoted MSF4ASD.MSF4ASDimplemented inMSFversion4.0in 2005 р. in the tool/technologyVisual Studio Team System. Therefore, here it is called an example of a specific software development methodology. Without implementation, the methodology exists, but it is better to call aspecifiedgeneralized MSF methodology with the threat of losing practicality.Given the topicality of the Agile methodologies, MSF Agile can be a practically useful implementation of the generalized MSF methodology. The specific MSF Agile methodology can be obtained in two ways: 1) two-step specification or 2) standardization with subsequent specification. This article chooses the second way - first, MSF Agile standardized using the development methodologies metamodel from the ISO/IEC 24744 standard. After that, it is easier to perform practically useful specification, since the task becomes typical. Implementation will be possible using various information technologies (IT), including Microsoft IT. The specific methodology can already be directly used in practice.In the three main sections of this paper: 1) a standardization tool is introduced – the necessary elements of the software development methodologies metamodel from the ISO/IEC 24744 standard are described; 2) information about MSF4ASD is reminded, here simplified to MSF Agile; 3) MSF Agile is presented using the elements of the ISO/IEC 24744 metamodel. This shows how to make MSF Agile a standardized methodology. Then, by one-step reduction, it is possible to obtain a specific methodology that can constructively satisfy the Framework approach and facilitate the transition to Pattern-Based Spatial Engineering.Received: 27.04.2026;Accepted: 00.00.2026;

    2Lands of Destroyed Settlements in Ukraine: Legal Regime, Land Use Conversion, and the Economics of Post-Settlement Territories
    A. Martyn,L. Hunko, A. Poltavets, A. Chumachenko

    The article examines the lands of destroyed settlements in Ukraine as a new object of land-law and land-use planning regulation emerging under the conditions of full-scale war and not reducible to the conventional issues of physical reconstruction. It is substantiated that the universalization of the “build back better” paradigm is methodologically insufficient for the Ukrainian context, since some destroyed cities, towns, and villages have objectively lost, or are likely to lose, the capacity to be restored as fully functioning settlements due to the combined impact of security-related, demographic, economic, and infrastructural factors. It is shown that war-related destruction does not transform the territory of a settlement into a legally free space: even under conditions of actual depopulation, such territory remains structured by a multiplicity of private and public real rights to land, immovable property, and other assets, which makes its spontaneous transition to a new use impossible in the absence of a special legal mechanism. The purpose of the study is to develop an integral scientific and practical concept of the legal regime of the lands of destroyed settlements, to determine the criteria for their actual loss of settlement viability, to elaborate a legally sound algorithm for the land-use conversion of such territories, and to substantiate the institutional and economic model of their further use. The methodological basis of the study includes the analysis of Ukrainian normative legal acts, international programmatic and analytical documents, and official data on destruction, population displacement, and humanitarian demining. The working concepts of the “zone of settlement disintegration” and “war greyfields” are proposed to denote former settlement territories irreversibly damaged by war and deprived of a realistic prospect of restoration as places of permanent residence. The need for a special legal regime is substantiated; such a regime should combine an audit of settlement viability, inventory of land and property, identification of rights holders, voluntary buyout or compulsory acquisition with proper compensation, deposit of funds for unidentified persons, clearance, land reclamation, and subsequent change of the functional use of the territory. The practical value of the article lies in the formation of a conceptually and instrumentally coherent framework for the transition from a policy of reconstruction to a policy of lawful conversion of territories that have lost their settlement function, and for preventing their long-term spatial abandonment.Received: 16.03.2026;Accepted:06.04.2026;

    3Calculation of the Illuminance Coefficient and Energy Performance of Buildings in the Design of Urban Development.
    R. Rudyi, Yu. Kyselov, O. Kravets, P. Borovyk, M. Shemiakin

    The use of solar panels as a source of energy supply, not only for industrial enterprises but also for private buildings, began in Ukraine in the early twenty-first century. Widespread adoption became evident approximately a decade later, when the number of households equipped with solar power systems increased rapidly following the introduction of the so-called “green tariff”. The necessity for autonomous energy supply for individual houses has become even more acute in the context of the ongoing war.The object of this research may be considered the aspect (orientation) of the slopes of gable roofs in the spatial planning of residential areas, while the aim is to determine the amount of solar radiation incident on roof surfaces of different orientations equipped with photovoltaic panels.The article sets the task, based on the principles of geodetic astronomy, of determining optimal parameters for the orientation of solar panels installed on building roofs in order to maximise electricity generation. The calculations were performed for the day of the summer solstice under the conditions of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The value of the optimal roof pitch angle was adopted from existing literature sources. The conducted study illustrates how roof orientation affects the potential for solar energy utilisation. The calculated values of the solar energy coefficientKand the amount of solar energyEₛfor different orientation scenarios of gable roofs enable the formulation of relevant conclusions.The results of the study indicate that the optimal orientation of roof slopes for the installation of small-scale energy systems is the east–west configuration, which allows for maximising solar energy generation throughout the daylight period. In this case, the east-facing slope is active from sunrise until noon, while the west-facing slope is active from noon until sunset. In contrast, with a north–south roof orientation, the southern slope exhibits increased activity only for a relatively short period around midday, which is insufficient to ensure high efficiency throughout the entire daylight period. As expected, the northern slope receives the least solar radiation and, consequently, demonstrates the lowest efficiency in electricity generation. Roofs with diagonal orientations (north-west–south-east or north-east–south-west) provide a more uniform distribution of solar radiation throughout the day.Received: 28.04.2026;Accepted: 15.05.2026;

    4Application of the Nested Iteration Method for Automated Mapping
    Y. Dorosh, B. Zayachkivska, R. Kharitonenko, D. Melnyk

    The article considers a method for automating the creation of a series of cartographic materials based on the integration of QGIS Atlas tools and the Python programming language. The study aims to optimize the preparation process of multi-page thematic atlases for large spatial datasets. An original method of nested iteration has been applied, which allows for dynamic changes not only in the spatial extent but also in the semantic styling of the display for each individual object. A key element is the developed algorithm based on the processing of the featureChanged event, which ensures automatic synchronization of district attributes with the corresponding .qml style files. The model was tested on a dataset exceeding 20,000 contours.The testing results confirmed the high efficiency of the method. The speed of map series generation increased approximately 20-fold compared to traditional methods, while completely eliminating subjective visualization errors. The proposed approach represents a universal methodological platform for the automated transformation of complex spatial datasets into high-precision graphical models. This solution provides the capability for rapid presentation of multifactor research results in any field requiring a combination of high-intensity processing of large datasets with adherence to individual visual interpretation parameters for each unique system element.Received: 06.05.2026;Accepted: 02.06.2026;

    5Multi-level Model for Assessing the Impact of Cultural Heritage Objects on the Cost of Urban Land and Real Estate
    D. Novakovskyі, L. Skrypnyk, I. Novakovska, P. Romakh

    The article proposes a multi-level theoretical and methodological model for assessing the impact of cultural heritage objects on the value of urban land and real estate. The relevance of the study stems from the fact that, in Ukrainian practice, the historical environment is still predominantly viewed as a constraint on development, while its market, fiscal, and spatial effects remain insufficiently measured.The aim of the article is to conceptualize the mechanisms through which heritage is capitalized into real estate value and to develop an analytical toolkit that combines classical spatial methods with new digital indicators of public attention.The research methodology is based on a combination of institutional analysis, hedonic pricing, spatial econometrics, and externality analysis, as well as the use of data from geographic information systems, market monitoring, users’ digital traces, reviews, and photometric indicators of platform visibility.It is substantiated that the influence of heritage assets on value manifests through several channels: aesthetic-symbolic, tourism-commercial, institutional-regulatory, infrastructural, reputational, and fiscal.The scientific novelty lies in introducing the concept of “net heritage capitalization,” defined as the difference between the heritage premium and the heritage discount. It is demonstrated that a positive price effect does not arise automatically from the mere presence of a heritage asset, but depends on clearly registered use regimes, a transparent conservation agreement, low regulatory uncertainty, and the owner’s capacity to maintain the property.The practical significance of the article lies in providing a framework for improving normative monetary valuation, tax policy, urban planning regulation, and investment decision-making within historical areas.It is concluded that the protection of cultural heritage should not be regarded as a consumption-type expenditure, but as a long-term investment in sustaining property values, strengthening local budget bases, and fostering the economic growth of historic territories.Received: 22.04.2026;Accepted: 30.04.2026;
