
This study aims to examine the influence of social media on the interest and participation of young people in Indonesia in sports. A quantitative survey method was used, involving 300 respondents aged 15-26 who actively use social media and participate in sports. The results show that the majority of respondents (75%) are exposed to sports content frequently to very frequently, with the high exposure group having an average sports frequency of 3.6 sessions per week, higher than the low exposure group, which only had 2.1 sessions. Regression analysis revealed intrinsic motivation as the main predictor of sports participation (β = 0.848), while social media exposure also had a significant positive effect (β = 0.581). These findings confirm that social media can increase internal motivation and sports frequency, but also has the potential to cause social pressure related to body image. Therefore, the recommendation from this study is the need for education and digital content curation. The goal is to optimize the positive effects of social media while minimizing its negative psychosocial impacts. This is expected to foster healthy and sustainable sports participation among the younger generation. In conclusion, social media contributes to increased sustainable sports participation, but this must be balanced with education to reduce psychosocial risks.
The aerobic endurance capacity of PJKR progdi students must be above the average of the aerobic endurance capacity of other students. Observing this phenomenon, this study aims to determine the capacity of aerobic endurance (VO₂Max) using the Bleep Test in first semester students of the PJKR study programme. The method in this study is quantitative non-experimental with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population used in this study were first semester students of the PJKR study programme, the number of samples was 70 people. The research was carried out at the PJKR study programme. Data analysis using statistical analysis includes preparation, tabulation and data application. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is concluded that the level of physical fitness of Physical Education study programme students is categorised as very less (95.51%) and 4.28% of students are categorised as less. It can be said that more than 95% of physical education study programme students have a very poor level of physical fitness. Students need to manage their diet, rest and exercise activities regularly. The study programme is recommended to monitor and improve physical fitness for students through training and evaluation programmes.
The objective of this research is to examine the impact of organized training interventions on the football agility of under-15 players at SSB Muspan. The main goal is to compare the Football Agility Score (FAS) values obtained from initial and post-training evaluations, taking into account various agility dynamics, real-world significance, and personalized reactions. Participants were subjected to a thorough agility assessment both before and after a predetermined training program, during which distances and timings were measured and recorded. The FAS, determined by multiplying the ratio of distance to time by a fixed factor, was used as a precise quantitative indicator of agility. The research used rigorous analysis to reveal the subtle effects of the training program on agility, taking into account characteristics such as quick changes in direction, acceleration, and deceleration. The comparison research showed a significant rise in post-training FAS values, suggesting a beneficial impact on participants' football agility. The results provide valuable practical knowledge for coaches, trainers, and sports scientists, emphasizing the need for customized training regimens that take into account individual reactions and agility dynamics. This research adds to the wider discussion in sports science by providing detailed insights on how to improve football agility in the specific age group of under-15s.
This research aims to develop volleyball bottom passing exercises. Based on observations made in elementary schools in Jambi, there is still a low ability of basic volleyball passing techniques, so it is necessary to develop the form of exercise. This development uses the R&D model with the Borg and Gall model. While the data analysis technique uses effectiveness tests and gain scores. The results of the development of volleyball bottom passing training equipment meet the criteria that are quite valid for expert experts and are in the Very Meet or Decent category. The conclusion of this study is that the development of a volleyball bottom passing exercise model is very feasible to be used as a training model for basic bottom passing techniques in volleyball games

Based on the results of VosViewer analysis, there are eight clusters, with research trends increasing every year. With bibliometric analysis, it is expected to be a reference for researchers, especially about badminton, to continue to develop knowledge.
Regular physical activity by vulnerable populations such as the elderly can improve physical and mental function and reduce the risk of dementia. However, awareness of doing physical activity is still low among the elderly, especially in the city of Bandung. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of physical activity, BMI, and sleep duration of the elderly in the city of Bandung. This study used a quantitative descriptive method without a control group and assessed the level of physical activity using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the average (SD) age, height, weight, and BMI of the study subjects were 56.88 ± 5.32 years, 155.8 ± 7.66 cm, 66.84 ± 12.46 respectively kg, and 27.8 ± 3.8 kg/m2. Meanwhile, the average physical activity status and sleep time of the research subjects were 452.68 ± 76.88 METs, and 344.48 ± 46.28 minutes, respectively. The conclusion of this study shows that the elderly in Kiaracondong District, Bandung City, West Java Province have a low level of physical activity and are in the category of obesity or overweight. However, the resulting sleep duration is still included in the recommended category. Keywords: elderly, physical activity, west java
This research examines the efficacy of Kinesio taping therapies in reducing pain related to plantar fasciitis. A thorough technique was used, including systematic sampling, to choose 30 individuals. Applying inclusion and exclusion criteria ensured homogeneity. Demographic attributes such as age, height, weight, and BMI were painstakingly documented, resulting in a complete profile. The study methodology used a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare pain levels, as evaluated by the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), across various therapies. The data collection process included evaluations conducted before and after the intervention, which allowed for a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of Kinesio taping. The paired sample t-test demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in pain levels (p = 0.001*), providing evidence to support the notion that Kinesio taping is a useful method for alleviating pain associated with plantar fasciitis. Despite the positive results, Johnson et al. (2020) expressed doubt, and the discussion acknowledges this by highlighting the impact of methodological variations and participant variables on the inconsistent results. The research promotes the use of established techniques, subgroup analyses, and thorough assessment methods to improve the dependability of results and resolve conflicting conclusions. Ultimately, this study provides significant knowledge on the possibility of Kinesio taping as a non-invasive treatment for plantar fasciitis. The favorable results emphasize its effectiveness, but a cautious interpretation is maintained, advocating for more study to get a more nuanced comprehension.
Mental has such an important role in the process of fostering athlete achievement. The purpose of this study was to find out the mentality of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Training Pelatda athletes in the face of PON XXI 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra. Athletes who are mentally tough are athletes who are able to stabilize their emotions in every performance then they can be ascertained stay on top of the game, and will never allow himself to be complacent. This research is a quantitative type . The sample in this study were the KONI Fostered Pelatda athletes Aceh Province, sampling using purposive sampling technique, amounting to 12 athlete. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Research result as follows: of the 12 athletes of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Training Plate, 9 of them have mentally tough or mental level to compete they are at a high level with the percentage is 75% and 3 of them are in a state of moderate mental level the percentage is 25%, which means they have guts and level very good self-confidence both during training and competition. those results shows how the mental picture of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Pelatda athlete facing PON XXI 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra.
This research aims to determine the effect of the intensive interval method, repetition method and motivation on 100 meter sprint performance. This type of research is a quasi-experiment (with a 2x2 factorial design. The population of this research is students of SMP N 2 Pangkalan Limapuluh Kota, totaling 195 people, while the sample of this research is 48 people who are divided into two groups, 27% students with high motivation and 27% with low motivation. motivation. The instruments used in this research were motivation tests and speed tests in the 100 meter sprint performance. Data were analyzed using a two-way analysis of variance technique (ANAVA 2x2). The results of data analysis show that: (1) there is a difference in the achievement of 100 meter sprint speed between the group that used the intensive interval series method and the group that used the repetition series method, (2) there was an interaction between the training method and the level of motivation in increasing the speed of sprint performance. 100 meters, (3) at a high level of motivation, the intensive interval series method is more effective than the repetition series method in improving the 100 meter sprint performance of junior high school students, (4) Furthermore, at low motivation, the repetition series method is more effective than the intensive interval method in Junior high school students' 100 meter short distance running performance
This study aims to determine the differences in the effect of Drill Controlled One Arm and Drill Catch Up Exercises on Swimming Speed for Freestyle in Men's Swimming Athletes at Pontianak Swimming Club. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The sample used in this study were 16 athletes from swimming clubs. Based on the results of the research, the Drill Controled One Arm and Drill Controled One Arm exercises both have an influence on speed in the free swimming style of men's swimming athletes at the Pontianak Swimming Club. Based on the results of the study showed that the results of the Drill Catch Up exercise were better than the Controlled One Arm Exercise for freestyle swimming in male swimming athletes at the Pontianak Swimming Club
Sedentary behavior and sleep duration are indicated as contributors to the emergence of health problems. Especially in early children's cognitive function abilities, including nerve signal abilities, concentration levels and memory. So this research was carried out with the aim of exploring how much sedentary behavior and sleep duration are related to cognitive function (visuospatial memory) in early childhood. The quantitative correlation test is used to test how much the relationship both of variable. The research subjects were 45 children aged 4 years in Bandung city, West Java. The instruments used in data collection were the Accelerometer Actigraph GT3X and the Early Years Toolbox (Mr.Ant). The results of research data analysis stated that there was a significant relationship between sedentary behavior and visuospatial memory, p=.047 with a correlation coefficient of -.514. Sleep duration is related to cognitive function with a value of p = .028 and a correlation coefficient value of .360. The duration of sedentary behavior carried out by young children in daily life is negatively correlated with cognitive function, while the duration of sleep is positively correlated with cognitive function.
This study aims to determine the effect of training methods and achievement motivation on the results of karateka karate speed at PGRI Palembang University. The method used in this study is quasi-experiment. The subjects in the study were 37 karateka of PGRI Palembang University. The instrument used in data collection for this variable is the Likert scale model questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study was with two-track Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) and continued with the Tukey Test. From the results of data analysis shows that there is a difference in the influence of training methods between groups with circuit training methods and interval training is accepted, because the calculation results show Fcalculate = 6.99 > Ftable = 4.05 and there is an interaction between the training method and Achievement Motivation with Speed accepted, because the calculation results show that Fcalculate = 41.77 > Ftable = 4.05.
In this research, the development of basic manupulative motion learning will be carried out through a game approach designed using learning principles starting from movement with easy elements to the most difficult. The development of maipulative basic motion learning will be developed with 4 manipulative basic motion models using simple tools that are easily available with a level of security that suits the characteristics of elementary school children. Basic manipulative motion learning will be developed through a play approach expected to provide a good stimulus for children's development in order to master motion well with fun learning. The development of basic manipulative motion learning through a play approach will be outlined in the form of a monograph book of research results as a source of learning and reference for schools. This development product will be tested by adopting the development and research of borg and gall with 4 stages only according to research needs. The objectives of the study are 1) Developing manipulative basic motion learning through an approach to playing at the elementary school level. It is hoped that this development can be implemented at the education unit level and can even be used in society in general to learn basic manipulative movements more enjoyably.

The development of various tourism sectors in various countries that are stretched coupled with the source of foreign exchange obtained by the region from the tourism sector is certainly an opportunity and also a challenge for Indonesia, especially the city of Palembang in developing the sports tourism sector. The development of sports tourism requires the active role of various parties. The central government to local governments at the lowest level have a role in the authority to regulate, foster and develop. This research aims to produce a digital lower passing test tool based on an Android application at SMP Negeri 55 Palembang. The type of research used is research and development (R&D), which is research that produces a product in the form of a digital lower passing test tool based on an Android application. The sampling technique in this research was all students in class VII of SMP Negeri 55 Palembang who at that time were studying bottom passing material in learning the game of volleyball. The data collection techniques used are product validity test data, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The instruments in this research were validation sheets, questionnaires and students' passing tests. The data analysis technique is validity analysis, practicality analysis and effectiveness analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded from the research that the bottom passing test tool is said to be very valid, seen from the validator research results, namely an average percentage of 95% with a very valid category. Based on the student response questionnaire, this lower passing test tool is said to be practical to use with a score of 3.83 with a very positive classification. Based on the results of the bottom passing test, using this tool is effective for use in the learning process. The results of the lower passing test were obtained with an average of 16 in the high category. The conclusion of this research is that the Android application-based digital passing test tool is declared to be very valid in its use, this tool is also practical to use, and this tool is effectively used as a support for learning activities in the game of volleyball. The implementation of the results of this research is that the Android application-based digital passing test tool can be used as intended.
Android provides an open platform for developers to create their own applications that can be used to help perform daily activities. Media can used to support online learning or training has an impact on learning the skill. This study aims to look into to develop android application based on biomechanical analysis of pencak silat. The video with biomechanical analysis of pencak silat in android application was created with the Kinovea application and RAD Studio 10.3 software developer. Kinovea is used to analyze biomechanics (angle of motion) and make slow-motion videos. The content developed is the basic techniques and single artistic jurus, the name of this android application is “Analisis Biomekanika Jurus Tunggal Pencak Silat (Tutorial)”. It has been found that 114 undergraduate students in physical education department who learn pencak silat material easily adapt to mobile learning. The application has not only been designed and tested, but it has also been in use for four months. This study's conclusions are based on practical rather than theoretical considerations.
Learning fundamental skills movements can be done with a game approach and using simple tools. This study aims to develop a game-based basic motion learning model in elementary schools, and to see the effectiveness of the developed model. The subjects in this study amounted to 158 consisting of 5 elementary schools, experimental and control subjects were taken from a sample of 68 students. The research method used is Research and Development from Borg and Gall. Based on the results of the validation of physical education learning experts, movement learning experts and game experts declared valid for trials with locomotors obtaining percentages of 80.00% and 85.00%, non-locomotor basic movements obtained percentages of 80.26% and 82.89% and in The manipulative basic movement learning model obtained a percentage of 80.88% and 84.38%, respectively. The results of the small group trial state that the learning model developed can be implemented by students with a percentage of 79.79% and the large group at gets a percentage of 82.14%,. The results of the effectiveness state that the developed model can improve the basic movement skills of walking, running, throwing, catching and jumping with a mean difference of t0 is 15,462 > t-table 1,668, degrees of freedom 66 = 0.05. The conclusion is that the developed model is valid and can be applied to physical education learning, and can improve the basic movement skills of elementary school students.
This research aims to assess the impact of knee lift jump training on increasing leg muscle explosive power in novice gymnasts at the Pengda Persani Palembang club. The study involved 30 gymnasts from the research population, with the same sample size. In this study, an experimental research method was employed involving data collection through sports tests and measurements. The research utilized a pre-test and post-test one-group design, with the pre-test conducted before applying the treatment and the post-test conducted afterward. The study aimed to evaluate the impact of knee lift jump exercises on improving lower limb muscle explosive power among members of the Pengda Persani Palembang gymnastics club. Based on research data obtained from vertical jump tests conducted on 30 novice gymnasts in the Pengda Persani Palembang club, the following key findings were observed: - Pre-test Mean: 51.63, Standard Deviation: 16.059, Range: 50, Normality test result: 0.087 - Post-test Mean: 59.13, Standard Deviation: 15.690, Range: 54, Normality test result: 0.109 The t-test resulted in a p-value of 0.000.
This study aims to develop a table tennis learning media based on an android application that is tested for its product feasibility and can be used in lectures both online and as a guide in offline lectures. The research carried out was only up to the development or development stage because the other purpose of this research was only to develop and produce a table tennis learning media product based on an android application called "B-PONG" (Basic Ping-Pong). Ping-Pong is another name for table tennis and is already popular among the public. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire/questionnaire given to experts/experts to determine or assess eligibility according to the validator's expertise so that it is validated by 3 experts/experts including table tennis material experts, physical education learning media experts, technical and informatics experts. In addition, a questionnaire/questionnaire is also given for users (students) to get feedback from users. The results of product validation indicate that the table tennis learning media "B-Pong" is categorized as good and suitable for use in the learning process. The results of the response to the use of the table tennis learning media product "B-Pong" are also categorized as good. Based on the results of the three experts, and the product usability test, the table tennis learning media product "B-Pong" is said to be feasible and can be used in the table tennis learning process. The next research plan will test the effectiveness of the product so that it can be seen the effect of "B-Pong" media when used in the table tennis learning process
