The proposed expert assessment components are necessary to overcome contentious issues in the process of reviewing multicultural projects for compliance with BRICS values and goals. This is a key management indicator, identifying strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities for developing intercultural dialogue both between different BRICS countries and with other countries. Practical implications. The research results can be applied to developing methodologies for expert assessment of the effectiveness of cultural projects implemented by BRICS agreements, as well as to formulating the basis for a unified cultural policy for the alliance, considering its cultural governance structure, based on the principle of diversity in unity.
Background. In contemporary conditions, the concept of "cultural text" is becoming increasingly relevant within the cultural-philosophical context, illustrating the interpretations of the notions of "text" and " cultural text " in various scholars' research. A typology of cultural texts is presented, based on their functions and types of human activity. This typology is determined by differences in value-semantic content, coding characteristics, material components, and types of transmission of cultural values. The concept of "regional culture" is analyzed, and factors influencing the formation of cultural values in a specific region are identified. Purpose. The aim of the research is to identify typological features of regional texts of culture, conditioned by their functionality; to establish the concept and criteria for the typology of regional texts of culture in a value-meaning context. Methodology. The study is based on a philosophical and cultural analysis of the concepts “cultural text” and “typology of cultural texts,” employing activity-based, axiological, and functional approaches to develop criteria for the typology of regional texts of culture. Results. It is established that a regional text of culture positions itself as artifacts, phenomena, objects, and items of culture specific to a particular city, district, or region, inherent only within this territorial integrity and transmitting value-meaning loadings accessible for understanding exclusively by residents of a given area. Types of regional texts of culture are identified as functional, artistic-publicistic, folklore, and encyclopedic. As a result of the study, it is determined that differences among cultural elites influence the diversity of regional texts of culture; regional texts of culture differ by an original meaning-forming constant. Regional texts of culture are products of collective, reproductive, and creative activities that define cultural values on the basis of traditions and customs, containing value meanings unique to the inhabitants of a specific territorial integrity. Practical implications. The obtained results can be applied in philosophical and cultural studies, in works on regional culture, in organizing seminars concerning the interpretation of cultural texts, their typology, and their linkage to territorial values.
Background. The preservation and re-publication of Russian cultural traditions is a pressing issue today. This process includes a number of activities related to preserving the creativity of Russian poets, musicians, and artists. One such cultural project in Russia was the 2025 festival dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Sergei Yesenin's birth. Contemporary composers' creation of musical works based on Yesenin's poems also makes a significant contribution to preserving the poet's creativity. Purpose of this study is to explore the characteristic compositional techniques of D. Kotylev's chamber-vocal works in interaction with words, revealing the dichotomous of Sergei Yesenin's poetry. Methodology. The material for this study is the vocal compositions of Krasnoyarsk composer D. Kotylev based on Sergei Yesenin's poems “I Have Only One Amusement Left…” and “On a Blue Evening”. Method of the study is based on the synthesis of music-theoretical and historical musicology research method. Results. Two romances based on poems by Sergei Yesenin, "I Have Only One Amusement Left..." and "On a Blue Evening," by contemporary Krasnoyarsk composer D. Kotylev, are dedicated to the composers D. Pimenov and Yu. Shibanov. The Krasnoyarsk composer's revisitation of the Russian poet's late, most controversial creative period predetermined the composer's search for unique forms and means of musical expression. Following the logic of the unfolding dramaturgy of the artistic image and sensitively capturing the slightest changes in the poetic mood, D. Kotylev emerges not only as a composer but also as a director. In this perspective, the author of the romances continues the finest traditions of Russian chamber vocal lyricism, which were initiated by A. Dargomyzhsky and M. Mussorgsky and continued in the works of I. Stravinsky, S. Prokofiev, and G. Sviridov. By skillfully constructing the process of working with words, filigree reading the entire psychological subtext of the "historical period" of the poet's creation of poems, using individual creative techniques for constructing a composition (as well as details of scenography), the author of romances manages to create a philosophically meaningful, musical and artistic image that reveals the dichotomy of S. Yesenin's poetry. Conclusion. Having studied the romances of Krasnoyarsk composer D. Kotylev we note: 1) the author of romances manages to fully reveal the “psychological” aspect of Sergei Yesenin's poetry “...depicting the nature of Russia as a musical unstoppable force”; 2) the composer skillfully uses a multi-layered palette of modern musical and artistic means, creating a renewed acoustic space; 3) the renewal of the acoustic space is connected with the composer’s technique of “illuminating” the texture, “coloring” the timbres, expanding the concept of “music and words” - when the sounds of the human voice - whistles, sighs, etc. - become the text; 4) the vocal creativity of the Krasnoyarsk author of romances is one of the diverse approaches in the process of preserving the poetic heritage of the Russian poet, corresponding to the modern musical context.
