
The traditional Jun porcelain industry has long suffered from a systemic disconnect among design, craftsmanship, and market feedback, which hinders its digital and intelligent transformation. This study proposes an enterprise information system innovation framework driven by digital twin and artificial intelligence-generated content. The system constructs a multi-scale digital twin spanning the kiln, form, and glaze, enabling predictable and interactive control of the kiln transformation process. The firing success probability is embedded as a soft prompt into a low-rank adaptation-fine-tuned Stable Diffusion model, integrating creativity with process constraints. A crowdsourced evaluation and reinforcement learning mechanism enables a “perception-generation-feedback” closed loop. Field tests in Yuzhou enterprises show the system significantly enhances process transparency, design freedom, and market agility. It offers a scalable information system paradigm for the digital transformation of intangible cultural heritage enterprises.
The digital economy (DIG) has transformed traditional industries and advanced agricultural development. Using panel data from 30 Chinese provinces between 2012 and 2021, this study developed evaluation index systems to measure the level of DIG development and agricultural development. The entropy weighting method quantified these indices, while a two-way fixed effects model and spatial Durbin model assessed the direct and spatial effects of the DIG on the quality of agricultural development. The results showed significant regional disparities in DIG advancement and agricultural development. The DIG significantly boosted agricultural quality, with a greater influence in more urbanized provinces. Additionally, it demonstrated a positive spatial spillover effect; improvements in one region benefitted neighboring areas. These findings deepened the understanding of the DIG’s impact on agriculture and provided a basis for regionally coordinated policy for agricultural modernization.

The results indicate that AI significantly enhances corporate sustainable development capabilities. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the effect of AI on sustainable development varies across firm characteristics such as firm size, market competition intensity, and firm age. Specifically, AI has a more pronounced impact on firms with larger asset scales compared to those with smaller scales, firms with fewer employees compared to those with more employees, firms in highly competitive markets compared to those in less competitive markets, and mature firms compared to younger firms. Mechanism analysis shows that AI facilitates corporate sustainable development by reducing information asymmetry, enhancing internal financial efficiency through real-time cash flow monitoring and predictive analytics, and alleviating financing constraints by improving access to diversified financial services. Furthermore, AI supports sustainability by optimizing environmental and social performance, thereby enhancing ESG ratings and advancing sustainable development goals. This study establishes a theoretical framework linking artificial intelligence and corporate sustainability based on the Resource-Based View (RBV). By further integrating perspectives on financing, collaboration, and ESG performance, the research offers valuable insights for firms and policymakers aiming to enhance sustainable competitiveness.

As the uncertainty of business environment and competition strength increases, a large number of enterprises implement cloud ERP so as to overcome these adverse changes. The introduction of cloud ERP does not merely mean the introduction of an online information system; it comprises the absorption of management process which is inherent in cloud ERP package and the formation of a new organization structure accompanied by transformation process. The main propose of this research is to examine the performances in cloud ERP introduced enterprises by utilizing balanced scorecard. To test the model, structural equation modeling is employed to analyze data collected from 155 enterprises which have introduced cloud ERP for more than one year. Based upon the empirical results, it is found that the cloud ERP can significantly enhance the operational efficiency and decision-making ability of enterprises. This research contributes to the understanding of cloud ERP and provides practical guidance for enterprises to optimize their operations through the adoption of cloud ERP systems.
A knowledge worker's goal commitment is critical to the success of system implementation in the organization. This paper investigates an individual's information formality motivation and social influence as important determinants in developing goal commitment in the system implementation based on the social psychology and information management literature. An empirical test of the proposed model was conducted in the field test (n = 148). PLS was used to analyze the model and supported the validity of the results. Social influence and information formality influence knowledge worker's goal commitment (R2 = 0.36) as expected. Social influence has a higher effect on goal commitment than information formality motivation. The results of this study will help us understand the antecedents of goal commitment in the system implementation based on the social influence theory and personal information management model. The paper includes implications for the designers and information system (IS) managers to effectively understand knowledge worker's goal commitment in the organization.
Group buying organizations (GBO) have recently stepped up their well-established practice of employing super-low prices combined with limited product and service supply in a short transaction time span as a means of exerting pressure on consumers. The purpose of this research is to 1) identify and define three types of pressure that are triggered by online group-buying (OGB) promotions, 2) examine the effects of these three types of pressure on consumers' impulse buying behavior, and 3) investigate and produce knowledge about the mediating role of emotion in the relationship between pressure and impulse buying intention (IBI) of consumers. By integrating stimulus-organism-response (SOR) model and consumer impulse buying literature seen from the perspectives of marketing and enterprise information systems respectively, this research has identified three types of pressure (i.e., time pressure, quantity pressure, and price pressure) that influence the impulse buying behavior (IBB) of consumers regarding OGB. The research then examines the mediating role of emotion with reference to pleasure and arousal level. The results of a large-scale online survey combined with an analysis of a structural equation model demonstrate that the above-mentioned three types of pressure have different effects on IBI of consumers. Moreover, the research finds that this is achieved through different mediating mechanisms. Based on the results of the analysis, the authors have made some suggestions that marketers can utilize in developing effective OGB strategies. This research also provides the basis for enterprise information systems (EIS) to develop technologies that will allow organizations to better serve the needs of their OGB customers.
Research on the link between investments in ERP systems and organizational performance has often led to mixed results. Besides internal organizational factors, many external contextual factors come into play. This study examined the role of firm size, industry, and duration of ERP system's use in influencing the performance impact of ERP systems through moderating the relationships between antecedent variables, ERP-induced benefits, and improvement in overall organizational performance. Using a sample of 200 participant firms, and structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis, the author confirmed the significant role of business process re-engineering and organizational fit and alignment as antecedents to ERP-induced benefits in information quality, and coordination/integration. Data and information quality was in turn confirmed as a significant predictor of organizational performance. Furthermore, the roles of industry, firm size, and time elapsed were also confirmed as significant moderators to the influence of the antecedent variables on ERP benefits and organizational performance.

This paper aims at identifying voice and speech attributes that reflect sentiment and affect (positively or negatively) customer satisfaction levels in voice interactions. The paper used method triangulation that utilizes multiple data sources to gain comprehensive understanding of the domain, including auditory observations, focus group interviews, customer survey, and a review of recent academic studies. The findings indicate that customer experience and satisfaction are influenced by the relative values of voice pitch between the CSR (customer service representative) and the customer. The major conclusion of the study suggests that voice fundamental pitch, speech rate, voice amplitude, and other communication parameters might deploy hidden power and affect service interaction's results. The study opens a new venue for research on social interaction adjustment from the CSR's perspective and from the customer's standpoint.

Understanding the effects of information technology infrastructure flexibility (ITIF) and behavioural biases on investment decisions will help investors make more informed choices. Due to a lack of investment and decision-maker biases, Iraqi universities' IT infrastructure is not well developed, resulting in low performance. However, few studies look into the causes of this phenomenon. This study aimed to investigate the impact of ITIF and behavioural biases on investment decision making and their impact on organisations' performance. A total of 209 valid responses from decision-makers in private universities of the Republic of Iraq are analyzed. A set of statistical analyzes are performed with SmartPLS software. The results show that there is a significant impact of ITIF factors and behavioural biases on investment decision making. Also, investment decision making influences organizational performance. The research confirms the significance of ITIF and behavioural biases as critical indicators of organizational strategic decision making.
Mobile messaging apps are currently a popular method in Malaysia for communicating while on the go, owing to its convenience, reliability, and contact-free feature of mobile application. Fueled by mobile internet and smartphone growth, mobile messaging apps have become a strong force in the mobile app sector, offering users an alternative to SMS-based texting paired with social media elements and enhanced features, such as group chats and photo sharing. The study was anchored using the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 theory. A survey with 150 respondents and PLS analysis is used to determine the antecedents of mobile application continuance usage during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results revealed that there is an influence in the usage of mobile messaging apps among the younger generation in Malaysian public university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main implication shows that mobile application among young generations in public universities has become popular. The convenience usage of the internet has turned the world into a global village.
The study presents the results of a comprehensive review conducted between 2005-2020 to identify Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) challenges, discover the divisions in which these challenges can be clustered, and provide general strategies to resolve these challenges. The study also found 25 categories that can be classified into ERP challenges. 65 ERP challenges were identified based on the reviewed literature, of which 18 were not provided with adequate solutions as to how to resolve them, and the related solutions as mentioned in the reviewed literature are presented in-depth. The result will help both academics and practitioners involved with how to resolve ERP system challenges.
It has become common practice for higher education institutions (HEIs) to replace existing computer systems, called legacy administrative information systems, with new ones to cope with the continuously changing demands in the context of education. At the top of these systems is enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems that integrate HEIs' business processes, functions, and data to improve their overall productivity and effectiveness. However, many studies on ERP adoption have shown that organizations frequently face several barriers, and the failure rate is high. In addition, various research projects have concluded that, quite often, HEIs do not obtain the expected advantages from the adoption of the ERP system. This research aims to explore the factors that affect the behavioral adoption and acceptance of an ERP system in the context of HEIs. Based on works from literature and authors' observations of the PeopleSoft system (ERP system) implementation at Yanbu University College (YUC) in Yanbu City, Saudi Arabia (SA), a conceptual model of users' acceptance of ERP systems has been proposed. The framework is based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model and is extended with additional constructs. The present study offers a theoretical contribution by extending the UTAUT model to provide a richer understanding of users' adoption behavior of ERP systems in the HEI context. In addition, according to the authors' knowledge, this is the first paper that to address ERP users' adoption perspective in HEIs in SA.
Due to rapid IT advances and escalated globalization, business digitalization has been accelerating. However, the average success rate of such endevors remains low. As an attempt to reveal why the digital transformation of a business is still so risky, this research analyzes how commonly encountered risks in IS projects are responded to and how the responses affect project outcomes. Resulting from the authors' previous work, they hypothesize that information systems are much more complex as they play an increasingly pivotal role in executing most business functions, and subsequently, the risk pattern of IS projects may have evolved, and that as businesses keep adding more information systems to the enterprise infrastructure, rather than via a piecemeal approach, a framework for enterprise-wide digital integration must be established to guide and evaluate business digitalization. The finding from this research should largely validate their hypotheses and allow them to call for a refocus of the efforts on digitalizing an enterprise.

They are also able to violate the integrity of public blockchains like bitcoin through mining acceleration. Hence, quantum computers can engender threats to the supply chain users of blockchain. On the other hand, there are ongoing efforts to create a quantum-resistant solution. One approach for such a solution is to utilize quantum tools themselves. Moreover, sufficiently powerful quantum computers are still being developed, and it is still unclear whether a quantum solution will arrive first or vice versa. The contrasting duality of quantum computers and lack of a clear picture over the timing of the arrival of a solution and threats give rise to the uncertainty that might hinder the attractiveness of blockchains for supply chains.

Designing a Central Repository (CR) for supporting the domain of Interlocking Institutional Worlds (IWs) requires a theory or model from Knowledge Storage Process (KSP) literature to govern the stakeholders' participation in the CR platform. However, current KSP theories or models have limited capabilities, so there are clear gaps in the context of designing a CR for the domain of IWs. Therefore, this paper suggests processes which include Identification, Standard, Service, and Maintain (ISSM) as a new KSP model to fill these gaps. To understand the stakeholders' participation, the authors use the case study of Flood Management (FM) to make sense of the proposed ISSM model. This gives us better understanding towards CR design using the KSP model.
While many studies explain factors influencing the success of ERP implementation, little is known about the system outcome to satisfy user expectations based on the concepts of task-technology fit and person-task fit. The study examines the effects of fits between user interfaces, task interdependence, and user knowledge on system utilization and performance impacts leading to user satisfaction with ERP system implementation. Based on the structural equation modeling analysis and two-way interaction test results, a user interface dampens the positive effect of task interdependence on task-technology fit while it strengthens the positive effect of user knowledge on task-technology fit. Task interdependence dampens the positive effect of user knowledge on system utilization. The results provide guidance on how to enhance the system impacts on user performance and encourage the system usage resulting in user satisfaction with the ERP system implementation. The paper provides detailed discussions of the results, the implications for theory and practices, and the study limitations.
Change management research has been extensively discussed during the latest decades, and management of information systems constantly investigates the importance of IT as a competitive driving tool. With the appearance of this pandemic were triggered many and varied changes in organizations, like hospitals, and in their information system has to adapt to this new reality. In order to adapt to this reality, we can use tools and methodologies, such as ITIL, which can help us to control and trigger control devices in order to minimize the change management impacts in IT caused by the pandemic of COVID-19. One of the areas affected by change management was cybersecurity. The relationships between strategic management, competitive environment, and IT as competitive factors can be supported by a holistic framework for strategic control. Although there are critical factors that depend on related paradigms that cannot be ignored and must be controlled.
