
In this paper we propose a parallel algorithm for computing the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) coefficients of n 2 points on a multimesh (MM) architecture [D.Das, M. De, and B.P. Sinha, A new network topology with multiple meshes, IEEE Transactions on Computers, 48(5), 1999, 536-551.]having n 4 processing elements.Each processor in the MM architecture has the same number of neighbours, that is, four as in the case of two-dimensional (2D) torus yet, the time complexity of the proposed algorithm on this MM architecture is O(n) which may be contrasted with O(n 2 ) time for computing n 2 -point DFT coefficients on a 2D torus having the same nature of processors.
Although general purpose computation on GPU (GPGPU) seems promising method for high performance computing, current programming frameworks such as CUDA and OpenCL are much difficult to achieve high performance.
Numerous customary applications in digital signal processing may be characterized by synchronous data-flow graphs (SDFGs). Our previous experiments with SDFGs led to the development of a technique which constructs a static time-optimal schedule on a model system possessing limitless functional elements. In this paper, we now introduce a modification of this method for scheduling an SDFG to realize efficient performance in a more restricted environment. Herein, we summarize our approach, assess its time complexity and exhibit its value on sample applications.

A traditional market is losing its popularity while customers increasingly use online shops through the Internet or convenient large-scale discount stores and department stores. Although there have been some changes in facilities and PR events of a traditional market, its services are still not very convenient, failing to attract more customers. Therefore, this study suggests a utraditional market mode to promote traditional markets. The system creates customized information and data through the context-aware(5W1H, Who, Where, What, When, Why, How) technology as well as heterogeneous sensors and RFID tags which collect real-time data of a traditional market and users' personal information.
The reinforcement of bolts and shotcrete supporting to rock mass can control the cracks propagation well. Adopt numerical simulation method to study the mechanism of anchorage effect. Use ansys to simulate the effect of bolt to crack. The fore treatment program of crack propagation simulation is compiled by parameterization method of apdl. The calculation and analysis is automatic. Ansys is well for simulating. Analyze the influence of different factors on stress intensity factor. Realize the basic process of fracture analysis in ansys. Prove that bolt plays an important role in control the crack propagation.
Privacy and security of patient health information has received worldwide attention as one of the critical research challenges due to its increasing access over the Internet in order to provide efficiency, accuracy, and availability of medical treatment. In this paper, we propose a novel efficient access scheme in order to provide various security characteristics for ubiquitous healthcare systems. In the ubiquitous environment, we deploy the recently developed concepts of identity-based signcryption in which the network effectively solves the problem of single point of failure in the traditional public-key infrastructure (PKI) supported system by providing key generation and key management services without any assumption of pre-fixed trust relationship between network devices.
A robust zero-watermark algorithm is proposed, which is based on singular value decomposition and discreet cosine transform. The image is firstly spilt into non-overlapping blocks. Afterwards, every block is conducted with singular value decomposition, and its singular value matrix is transformed with discreet cosine transform. The robust zero-watermark sequence is derived from comparing the numerical relationship between two direct coefficients from adjacent blocks. Experimental results of robustness tests show that it has good robustness against various attacks.
Adding element tridiagonal periodic matrices have an important effect for the algorithms of solving linear systems, computing the inverses, the triangular factorization, the boundary value problems by finite difference methods, interpolation by cubic splines, three-term difference equations and so on. In this paper, we give a fast algorithm for the Inverse Matrices of periodic adding element tridiagonal matrices.

Cyber security threats and attacks are greatly affecting the security of critical infrastructure, industrial control systems, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control systems. Despite growing awareness of security issues especially in SCADA networks, there exist little or scarce information about SCADA vulnerabilities and attacks. This research addresses the issues regarding security and performs a vulnerability analysis. Modeling of attack trees was created to simulate the vulnerability analysis and carry out assessment methodologies to test existing SCADA security design and implementation. Also, this paper proposes a security framework towards improving security for SCADA control systems.
In this research, we used HDMI signals, designed for low-cost distribution, in order to implement an HD-definition virtual studio, processing analogue signals and broadcasting HD signals. In this way, one can carry out automatic extraction, play/record, and operation of a virtual camera, using chroma key In the system, moreover, users can deal with more conveniently loss of signals, color degradation, use of an HD output board, correction of a driver, and so on. Thus, the low-cost HD virtual studio system complies with the environmentally-friendly policies and helps users easily produce high-definition contents. As a result, use of an HD virtual studio becomes much easier while an online community can be promoted through a website sharing background contents, providing more high-quality contents and popularizing the related equipment.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a product that unifies sensor technology, embedded computing technology, distributed information technology and wireless communication technology. At present it already is foreseen that it would have widespread application domain and high value. The main research contents of this paper include: the design of wireless sensor nodes, the method of hardware-software co-design, the reuse and design of embedded IP cores, the date acquisition, and the communication network and so on. Firstly, the performance requirement and development trend of wireless multimedia sensor nodes are analyzed. For the application of farmland information monitoring system, one wireless sensor node based on the SOPC is proposed, which designed with the Nios II processor, wireless communication chip CC2430 and some sensors. The hardware circuit diagram of each main module is given. Secondly, some IP cores in the bottom of WSN are designed and implemented, which are the important parts of In-Node Processing and In-Node Communicating. Finally, the software framework of wireless sensor nodes based on SOPC is analyzed, and the main work flow diagram of the system is provided in the paper.

To establish a complete system of sports colleges track and field course, fifteen variables and seven factors are selected by means of mathematical statistics and analytical hierarchy process etc. and an evaluation questionnaire on sports colleges track and field course is worked out.
Scheduling is an important issue that must be handled carefully to realize the “Just login to compute” principle introduced by computational grids. Current grid schedulers suffer from the haste problem, which is the inability to schedule all tasks successfully. Accordingly, some tasks fail to complete execution as they are allocated to unsuitable workers. Others may not start execution as suitable workers are previously allocated to other tasks. This paper introduces the scheduling haste problem and presents a novel high throughput grid scheduler. The proposed scheduler selects the most suitable worker to execute an input grid task. Hence, it minimizes the turnaround time for a set of grid tasks. Moreover, the scheduler is system oriented and avoids the scheduling haste problem. Experimental results show that the proposed scheduler outperforms traditional grid schedulers as it introduces better scheduling efficiency.
