We propose a new WebRTC premium service API and a distributed E2E WebRTC service management framework to enable provisioning premium WebRTC services across multiple network service providers (NSP) with software defined network (SDN) infrastructure. The proposed architecture supports both two-party point-to-point (P2P) and multi-party videoconferencing (via a selective forwarding unit (SFU)) with end-to-end (E2E) quality of service (QoS) as a value-added service. Each NSP has full control of its own network resources. We propose a WebRTC service manager (WSM) that is hosted by each NSP. WSMs collaborate with each other in a distributed manner to orchestrate a network slice with specified bitrate and delay over the E2E path between two clients in P2P service and between sending clients and SFU and between the SFU and receiving clients in multi-party service without a need for a central inter-operator service orchestration authority. Clients support scalable VP9 video codec, which is configured according to agreed client upload and download bitrates. Our experimental results show that the proposed managed WebRTC service with guaranteed video quality across multiple NSPs provides lower delay and consumes less network resources compared to today's best-effort WebRTC communications.
The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is hugely taking a big interest in worldwide in terms of security and private grants. Despite the increase of massive data transmission, a lot of challenges discovered in this technology, the data, and the critical information become vulnerable to a lot of malicious behaviors. In this paper, we proposed a new scheme to develop a dynamical framework to secure cluster-header decision-based blockchain in WSN that aims to facilitate the transactions and efficient to build a low-cost system. However, it applies the concept of Ethereum’s smart contracts to verify and check the confidentiality of each node in a decentralized architecture way. Otherwise, the implementation of the framework is deployed on the ganache environment using solidity as a programming language to write smart contracts to reach and resolve both the flexibility and efficiency of proof of work for each node. Consequently, the implementation results of the proposed scenarios confirm that this study achieves integrity, agreement, validity, availability, and termination which make the whole system a promising solution by decreasing building cost and improving the architecture effectiveness and trustworthiness.
Even though, Massive MIMO (M-MIMO) technology offers good improvement in terms of performance and quality of communications between users and Base Stations (BS). This technology, still limited by a harmful constraint renowned Pilot Contamination (PC) problem. To beat this problem of PC, two approaches have been adapted as a medicine for this problem, which appears strongly in Multi-Cell M-MIMO systems. The first approach is based on assigning extra pilot sequences to different users, while the second approach obliges the reuse of the same set of pilots in different cells. This paper reviews, briefly, the problem of PC in M-MIMO systems. Thereafter, it analyzes and provides a comparison between two decontaminating strategies: the Soft Pilot Reuse (SPR) and the Pilot Assignment based on the Weighted Graph Coloring (WGC-PA), which are respectively based on the above-discussed approaches. The analysis presented in this paper is focused on the uplink phase (i.e reverse link).
In this paper, we perform a study of optical image encryption using triple deterministic phase mask (TDPE) based on diffractive spherical phase masks array (SPMA). By combining the diffractive spherical phase masks array with the deterministic phase masks method we can improve the security level of an encryption scheme by increasing the key space and providing additional security parameters and also by overcoming the problem of the sensitivity to misalignment associated with an optical setup which is beneficial for practical implementation. Numerical simulation results indicate that the proposed method can reach a better effect in image encryption compared with the conventional double random phase encryption (DRPE).
Road accidents are considered as one of the major reasons of deaths. The proposed vehicle collision avoidance system aims to increase the traffic efficiency and safety. Through the proposed system, the driver can be alerted to the surrounding hazards by communicating with other drivers. One of the main advantages of the proposed system is to warn the driver if a distance between vehicles is less than the required safety distance or not. Furthermore, in foggy weather, the system is designed to notify the driver of a nearest vehicle or obstacle because the vision will not be clear.
