ObjectiveTo define the concept of caregiver activation in chronic disease patients using Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis method.MethodsWe systematically searched databases including CNKI,Wanfang Data,PubMed, and Web of Science. We analyzed concept evolution, surrogate terms and related terms, antecedents, attribute characteristics, consequences, and typical cases.ResultsA total of 40 articles were included. The attributes of caregiver activation encompass five dimensions:role identity, knowledge and skill competence, self⁃efficacy, cross⁃system collaboration and advocacy ability, and self⁃care and resilience.Antecedents of caregiver activation in chronic disease patients include five categories:demographic factors, personal factors, psychological factors, care burden and care time, and family and social support factors.Consequences mainly involve the caregiver level, patient level, and family system level.ConclusionsClarifying the concept of caregiver activation in chronic disease patients can provide a reference for future research on this topic.
This paper reviewed the development of countertransference theory. It systematically reviewed the concept, manifestations, measurement tools, influencing factors, and application and management progress of nurses' countertransference. The aim is to provide a reference for improving clinical nurses' ability to identify and manage countertransference tendencies.
ObjectiveTo investigate the current status and influencing factors of overall humanistic care perception among surgical nurses, and to provide evidence for developing targeted care support strategies, enhancing nurses' job well⁃being, and reducing the incidence of burnout.MethodsIn December 2024,1 518 surgical nurses from 30 hospitals across 12 regions in Hubei province were surveyed using a general information questionnaire and the Nurse Overall Humanistic Care Perception Scale.Descriptive statistics, non⁃parametric tests,Spearman correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis were used to examine the characteristics and influencing factors of the perception scores.ResultsThe overall level of humanistic care perception among surgical nurses was moderately high. The dimension⁃specific scoring rates from the highest to the lowest were:family care(86.46%),department care(84.83%),friend care(84.40%),self⁃care(82.88%),patient⁃side care(80.27%),and hospital care(79.30%).Regression analysis showed that self⁃compassion was influenced by position, recent major life events, department⁃level care, hospital⁃level care, patient⁃family care, family care, and friend care(P<0.05). Hospital⁃level care was correlated with hospital type, department type, department⁃level care, self⁃compassion, and patient⁃family care(P<0.05).Department⁃level care was positively correlated with self⁃compassion, hospital⁃level care, patient⁃family care, family care, and friend care(P<0.05).Patient⁃family care was correlated with department type, self⁃compassion, hospital⁃level care, department⁃level care, family care, and friend care(P<0.05).Family care was correlated with marital status, department type, self⁃compassion, hospital⁃level care, department⁃level care, and friend care(P<0.05).Friend care was correlated with self⁃compassion, patient⁃family care, department⁃level care, and family care(P<0.05).ConclusionsThe overall humanistic care perception among surgical nurses in Hubei province is relatively good, but hospital care, especially nurse participation in decision⁃making,is notably insufficient.Organizational empowerment, nursing leadership, departmental support, and family⁃friendly policies are crucial for enhancing nurses' overall care perception. It is recommended that hospital managers improve institutional channels for nurse participation in decision⁃making, foster a caring organizational culture, strengthen departmental support systems, and attend to nurses' family needs to enhance their humanistic care experience and professional engagement.
ObjectiveTo reveal the core medication patterns and potential mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),and to analyze their implications for dietary nursing.MethodsClinical research literature on TCM treatment for T2DM was systematically retrieved to establish a prescription database.Data mining and network pharmacology approaches were employed to screen key active components, core targets, and related pathways.Implications for dietary nursing were analyzed based on the distribution characteristics of active components.ResultsA total of 687 clinical research articles on TCM treatment for T2DM were included, involving 319 herbal medicines with 7 684 total medication records.Astragali Radix,Poria,Dioscoreae Rhizoma,Coptidis Rhizoma,Puerariae Lobatae Radix,Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma,Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,Ophiopogonis Radix, and Codonopsis Radix were identified as core herbs.Network pharmacology analysis indicated that luteolin, formononetin, and quercetin were potential key active components, while AKT1,STAT3,MAPK1,MAPK3 and JUN were potential core targets.ConclusionsTCM treatment for T2DM has formed a relatively clear core medication structure.Network pharmacology reveals three major directions of action:metabolic regulation, inflammatory response modulation, and oxidative stress relief. The distribution characteristics of these key active components in plant⁃derived foods may provide references for nursing staff in dietary guidance and health education during long⁃term diabetes management.
ObjectiveTo explore the latent profiles of dyadic coping levels in patients with hepatolithiasis undergoing percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD) and their spouses, and to analyze its influencing factors.MethodsA total of 206 patients with PTBD⁃treated hepatolithiasis and their spouses were recruited from the hepatobiliary surgery departments of seven hospitals in Chongqing,Sichuan province, and Hunan province between August 2024 and October 2025.Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, the Dyadic Coping Inventory, and the Marital Adjustment Test.Latent profile analysis was employed to identify the latent profiles of dyadic coping in patients and their spouses.Multinomial logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of different profiles.ResultsThe total score of dyadic coping in patients with percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage for bile duct stones was (110.95±11.36).The total score of dyadic coping in their spouses was (107.84±9.25).Three latent profiles were identified:patient⁃spouse low⁃level coping group(34.46%),patient⁃spouse moderate⁃level coping group(48.06%),and patient⁃spouse high⁃level coping group(17.48%).Influencing factors for the latent profiles of dyadic coping included the patient's employment status, patient's marital adjustment score, spouse's age,and spouse's marital adjustment score(P<0.05).ConclusionsHeterogeneity exists in the dyadic coping levels of patients with hepatolithiasis undergoing PTBD and their spouses. It suggests that healthcare providers should develop targeted interventions for patients and spouses with different characteristics from a holistic dyadic perspective to improve their dyadic coping levels and enhance their quality of life further.
