Although machine learning as a concept has been around since the very early days of computing, it is safe to say that its impact, as well as general interest in the topic has never been larger. Large streaming services and online stores use neural networks to form recommendations and has made innovations such as facial recognition possible. From the first neural network machine called SNARC in 1951, to beating humans at chess, all the way to newer, ambitious projects like Neura link, machine learning has been constantly changing and improving, but what does that mean for the field of information security? Although the possible implications of this technology in pretty much any field are not certain, there are some ideas about how machine learning could further improve the security tools available to us as well as some fears about its misuse.
Cloud Computing makes the dream of computing real as a tool and in the form of service. This internet - based ongoing technology which has brought flexibility, capacity and power of processing has realized service- oriented idea and has created a new ecosystem in the computing world with its great power and benefits. Cloud Computing is revolutionizing the Information Technology (IT) industry by enabling organizations to have flexible costs by buying a service instead of owning their assets. This will enable Universities to transfer their processing and storage to cloud for easy access by students. Nevertheless, decision makers in IT organizations have difficulties in evaluating Cloud services because there are no guidelines or any structured form to decide what Cloud services they should use. Cloud computing has emerged as an important platform to seeking innovative ways to save money and increase the trust and value of their information systems.
Plant breeding involves application of a collection of techniques aimed at bringing together good parents’ traits to generate a better crop in the progeny. Cross-breeding and selection in plant breeding has been able to considerably improve yields and pest and disease resistance of crops. Efficiency in crop breeding research programs depends upon the ability of breeders and geneticists to effectively and efficiently create, identify, store, track and select recombinant genotypes with a maximum number of desirable traits in the shortest time possible. This was not easily possible with the manual system for storage and management of information lying in large volumes of data generated in all research institutions. Locating files among tons of data is a tedious and time-consuming process for researchers. The need to keep track of research data is significantly becoming important in agricultural research institutions. A study was conceived in response to the need to improve the storage, tracking and dissemination of research data collected during the breeding of improved crops. It was conducted to develop a system for tracking breeding records, at the National Agricultural Research Laboratories (NARL) in Uganda. This was motivated by the increasing need to develop high yielding yet resilient crop varieties due to the constantly changing climate amid other socio-economic changes like population pressure and loss of soil fertility. Different methods were used to design the system which included Dataflow Diagrams (DFDs) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs). An ERD was used to identify the data to be captured, stored and retrieved in order to support the activities performed in the process of filing and tracking files. As a result, a breeding tracking system was developed in form of an application tool that is able to manage the creation and movement and tracking the originality of files from desk to desk of personnel who work on them. The developed system supports information sharing between scientists as well as easy access to information about good traits in improved crops.
Future Electronics has a full selection of Binary counters or Frequency dividers such as Radio Frequency divider, digital frequency divider, analog frequency divider which can further be used for improving the performance of electronic counter measures equipment’s, communications systems and laboratory instruments. An arrangement of D Flip Flops is a classical method of designing a Frequency Divider. The task for this paper is to minimize the propagation delay of C2MOS D flip-flop blocks using Logical Effort Theory which is further used in designing binary counter.
