1Le Temps S'envole: Fragmentation Et Postmodernité Dans L'Anomalie De Hervé Le Tellier
    Melissa Barchi Panek

Abstract: Jetée, rejetée. Produit, reproduit. ABSTRACT: Thrown, thrown out. Produced, reproduced. Here, there. Simulated, dissimulated. The Anomaly , by Hervé le Tellier, Prix Goncourt 2020, offers a new modality of chronological representation in the novel. The Anomaly presents the unrepresentable: the self-doubled, time rewound, and biotechnology destroying the space time continuum, distinguishing itself from its modern predecessors not by its chronological structure, but by its capacity to destroy our conception of time and space, using the advanced technologization of our postmodern culture as its cultural context. This postmodern novel places man face to face with his double, his simulacre, and provides a reformulation of the novel's temporality.

ABSTRACT: Alain Guiraudie's novel Rabalaïre was published in 2021. This article is about auctorial and lectorial intertextuality within the French working-class male interpretive community in the beginning of the 21st century. The motive of the Mandrake-root is worked upon by Guiraudie on both the textual and mythical level. The author reactivates his reader's knowledge of comics, films, and songs that make a part of France what it is, or thinks it is.

3L'adaptation De L'enseignement Colonial Aux Circonstances Locales Dans À Travers La Martinique Ou Les Vacances De Gérard

ABSTRACT: The madeleine episode is so famous that we tend to forget the laborious writing and rewriting that went into it. Indeed, Proust reworked almost all the details of this scene, including the madeleine itself, which had started in the early drafts as a piece of toast, soon replaced by a "biscotte." Proust also tried various combinations before deciding which role the biscuit and the tea should each have in the process of resurrecting the past. The madeleine episode therefore seems to stem less from a real gustatory experience than from the author's determination to properly stage the sacredness of writing.
