This article starts from the basic formula of hydraulics and calculates the replenishment capacity of building inlet pipes based on specific situations. It is proposed that under different municipal water supply pressure conditions, the replenishment capacity and outlet flow rate of the water tank replenishment pipe should be rechecked to avoid affecting the water supply of other water supply points. At the same time, corresponding design theoretical basis and suggestions were proposed by comparing the corresponding foreign technical standards.
A long-distance ultra-high-lift water conveyance project in the eastern mountainous area of Sichuan Province processes the characteristics of both ultra-high-pressure power flow water conveyance pipeline and ultra-high-gravity flow water conveyance pipeline. Moreover, the significant elevation difference at each water supply point increase the difficulty in water hammer protection design. To ensure the safety and reliability of water supply, this project conducted water hammer simulation analysis and adopted a series of water hammer protection measures. In addition, the problems existing in the trial operation of this project are analyzed and summarized to provide reference for the construction of other projects.
As the increasing demand for water, the sludge production of water supply plants also increases significantly. This article took a water supply plant in the north as an example to analyze the characteristics of sludge in the plant, conduct planting experiments, studied and explored the of sludge resourcilization. The results indicated that the heavy metal content in the sludge of the water supply plant was much lower than the pollutant control standard limits in green planting soil and form sludge.By using sludge from water supply plants, the legumes and peanuts had grown well with plump seeds. This article could provide reference for the utilization of sludge from water supply plants for soil improvement.
As one of the safety engineering of the lifeline of urban infrastructure, the existing tunnel pump stations in most cities have low standards, which cannot meet the requirements of drainage and waterlogging, and there are potential risks. This article took Lianchi South Street underground pump station as an example, analyzed the characteristics of the underground pump station and introduced the key points of transformation such as pump station scale, process design, and operation mode in the case of limited space. After the intensive transformation of the pump station, the drainage capacity had been significantly improved, and the addition of the initial rainwater storage tank could effectively cope with surface runoff pollution.
In order to improve the nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency of the traditional A2/O process,an improved A2/O process was adopted to explore the effects of different influencing factors on its nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency, and the optimal operating conditions of the improved A2/O process were determined.By adjusting the reflux ratio of digestive solution, inlet distribution ratio, and dissolved oxygen(DO)concentration, the optimal operating conditions for the improved A2/O process were determined to be 200%reflux ratio of digestive solution,6 ∶ 4 inlet distribution ratio, and 1.9~2.0 mg/L DO concentration.Under these operating conditions, the nitrogen and phosphorus removal effect was effectively improved, and the effluent water quality could stably reach the first level A discharge standard.
