Th e recombinant plasmid DNA pSC10C2 was constructed on the basis of cDNA fragments of the genes encoding variable domains of the heavy and light chains of MAb against glycoprotein E of Tick-Borne encephalitis virus (TBEV). Th is plasmid provided an expression of scFv-antibody sc10C2 against TBEV in Escherichia coli cells. Th e produced antibody was able to bind TBEV, strain 205, and recombinant protein E of TBEV.
