Балльно-рейтинговая Система Оценки Состояния Окклюзии У Студентов

The article presents a new estimation method of occlusal relationships state between dental arches based on point rating system. We have examined 5081 students of different Volgograd universities. The analysis of occlusal relationships defects was carried out using L.S. Persin´s classification (1989). The article contains principal characteristics of physiological and optimal functional occlusion. The work shows principal variants of pathologic occlusion as well as point rating estimation system depending on pathology severity. We have identified a prevalence rate of pathological states of students´ occlusive relationships.
