The reserve fund of strategic minerals totals 499 fields, 207 from which can be of industrial interest. Fields were geographically located mainly in Siberian (42%) and Far Eastern (39%) federal districts. In countries with market economies the alternative to the state participation in mineral raw materials base reproduction is successfully approved. It is based on attraction of private investments, creation and development of junior geological prospecting sector.
