Air pollution threatens our health and exacerbates respiratory diseases such as bronchitis and asthma; therefore, many researchers and organizations are interested in the study of air pollution and emissions. In this paper, we will discuss a data management system for a micro-scale urban air quality management system. Using small sensors, this system automatically senses temperature, humidity, air pressure, dust, and so on. Then, we will discuss the possibility of allowing for the integration of data applications with metadata management systems. We will also describe the design procedure for the sensor information using SensorML.
