Cell-based Immunotherapy

Abstract T lymphocytes and other immune effectors offer potentially attractive agents with which to treat cancer. They can mediate selective killing of malignant cells that express a molecular repertoire differing from that within normal cells. Immunotherapy for malignancy is more difficult than vaccination against infections and remains largely an experimental modality.
