Decrease of Power Consumption in Fine Grinding of Minerals

Analysis of closed circuit fine grinding of minerals is carried out with a view to solving the main technological problem – provision of interspersed mineral liberation with minimal expense of energy. By studying the particle distribution function according to fineness class, it is established that the minimum power input will occur at the minimum possible specific surface of the ground product with the target fineness class content.
