In order to improve the lean level of the distribution network and lead the high-quality and high-efficiency development of the distribution network from the perspective of precise planning, it is an inevitable trend for future planning technology development to set planning goals differentiated according to actual conditions. In view of the insufficient selection of capacity-load ratio in the current technical principles of distribution network planning and design, this paper proposes a differential optimization planning method for capacity-load ratio of distribution network based on maximum load utilization hours. Firstly, we convert the equivalent utilization hours of the maximum load based on the actual annual power consumption. Then we determine the optimal load rate range under the economic operation of the transformer in the planned area. Finally, we combine the average annual load growth rate to obtain the capacity-load ratio of the area optimal range. Taking a typical area in Anhui Province as an example, the planning method proposed in this paper is verified. The results show that the planning results of this method are consistent with the current situation of the distribution network, which improves the lean level of distribution network planning and can improve the quality of the distribution network.
