Infomobility has a great potential to contribute to sustainable mobility, but its effectiveness is often limited by the heterogeneity that characterizes available information, supporting technologies and the number and type of actors involved in the service provision. This heterogeneity is reflected in high fragmentation and confusion of the literature concerning terminologies and research areas (e.g. technologies, functions). This article reviews the literature in these fields, and proposes an integrated framework for infomobility as a potential solution to answer to these criticalities.
