In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients without oncogenic addiction, the frequency of thromboembolic events varies from 5-15%. However, the occurrence of such events significantly increases to 30-48% when ALK or ROS1 fusion is present. Due to the infrequency of the RET fusion population, the incidence of thromboembolic events in these patients remains unknown.
