S176. Relationships Between Inflammatory Markers and Kynurenine Metabolites in Patients with Schizophrenia but Not Healthy Controls

Previous work has demonstrated that inflammation induces the kynurenine pathway of tryptophan metabolism by increasing the activity of indoleamine-2,3-dioxygensase. Previous studies in schizophrenia have shown alterations in these markers/metabolites, though have only considered a small number of each.
