Welcome to the Hospital: Approaches to Successfully Embed Human Factors Practice in Healthcare

Embedded clinical human factors (HF) practitioners have started to bring systems engineering and human centered organizational principles into healthcare, and patient care environments present a variety of unique challenges for practitioners transitioning into hospitals. Here we provide a collection of insights and suggestions for success for clinically embedded HF practitioners.
