NOVELTY - The method involves forming a board comprising layers, where the panels (1) are formed from this board by carrying out the processing steps. A top layer (2) is exposed to a laser beam of a laser to form one or more markings, where one or more markings form discolorations of the top layer and one or more markings form indentations of the top layer. The indentations are viewed in a direction perpendicular to a plane that extends according to the panel, where the relief-creating processing takes place prior to laser processing, wherein during the relief-creating processing the board is provided with a base structure at the level of the top layer. The marking is applied, where plane extends according to the panel. The processing is carried out on the basis of this pattern. The pattern elements are exposed to the laser beam of the laser for accentuating these one or more pattern elements.
USE - Method for manufacturing panel (claimed) e.g. floor panel.
ADVANTAGE - The method improves the appearance of panels. The colorable markings ensure that pigments or dyes can penetrate into the top layer and/or the laser processing can form colorable indentations by removing material from the top layer or altering the structure of the material in the top layer, and panels are easier to clean. The method reduces the risk of misting/fouling of the lens.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The relief-creating processing is set to take place prior to laser processing. The board is pressed with a press plate comprising a relief, where board comprises a base structure corresponding to the relief and laser processing forms zones with different degrees of gloss. The decorative layer is extended between the substrate layer and the top layer, where the one or more panels are formed with layers. The decorative layer and the top layer are provided a resin-impregnated paper. The substrate layer is provided mineral-based substrate, such as a gypsum-based or cement-based substrate. The pigments are added prior to or during the laser processing. The base panels are submitted to laser processing. The laser is placed at a fixed position. The base panels are moved along this laser system. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a panel has a top layer that is provided based on synthetics, where top layer comprises one or more markings that form discolorations of the top layer and markings form indentations of the top layer that open out at the top of the panel and plane that extends according to the panel. The wear layers are extended on top of the decorative layer. The pattern elements are accentuated by use of markings. The zones of relief are obtained by the combination of a pressing operation with a relief-comprising press plate and/or chemical relief formation. The panel is provided with pigments fixed in the top layer, where markings comprise these fixed pigments.
DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a perspective view of a panel.
