    摘要

    NOVELTY - The clip (40) has a torsion spring section (46) having a torsion spring (41) connecting the proximal members of single element upper and lower occlusion members (42,43). The torsion spring has a height dimension in an occlusion member plane perpendicular to both occlusion members, and bias both occlusion members towards a closed position wherein both occlusion members are in force contact with each other.

    USE - Used in surgical procedures to occlude vessel or duct.

    ADVANTAGE - Provides an occlusion clip which maintains a substantial occlusion force to the occlusion members when they are at or near the closed position so that small vessels and ducts are adequately occluded.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The single element lower and upper occlusion members comprise an occlusion section (47), and combine to define an occlusion member plane. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following

    (A) a method of forming an occlusion clip from single wire strand;

    (B) a method of removing an occlusion clip from tissue; and

    (C) a method of applying an occlusion clip

    DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure is the side view of occlusion clip.
