Purpose : to determine pathogenesis of fibrosis of pulmonary tissue at patients with bullous lung disease. Materials and methods. Plasma and bronchoalveolar liquid of 38 operated patients with bullous lung disease (VEGF and TGF-β1) is researched. Results. VEGF and TGF-β1 in the 2 nd group are inversely proportional (r = 0,522) and in direct ratio (r = 0,722) on the 3 rd day after surgery. In the 1 st group the TGF-β1 of plasma level was in inverse proportion to the level of TGF-β1 BAL (r = -0,516, p = 0,18), correlations in the 2 nd group in TGF-β1 level wasn’t revealed. Conclusion. The fibrosis mechanism at patients of thoracotomy group proceeds more actively. Mechanisms require the further careful analysis and studying.
The objective of research. Assessment of enterosorbtion influence on anti-and pro-oxidatic system at patients with acute mediastinitis. Materials and methods. Mediastinotomy is performed to 29 patients with acute mediastinitis. «Litovit» enterosorbent was applied at 16 of them in the postoperative period. Results and discussion. The best results were at patients to whom the enterosorbtion was carried out at assessment of proand antioxidant system of organism. Conclusions. Application of enterosorbents promotes decrease in speed of formation of the lipoperoxidation end products and increase of level of antioxidant system.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: to study the changes of an extracellular matrix of a fibrous ring of intervertebral disks at modelling staphylococcal infection. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 18 males Wistar with tibia bone osteomyelitis and 6 control animals; histochemistry and immunohistochemistry on the basis of the automatic analysis of fibrocartilage image at 1, 2 and 3 months after osteomyelitis development. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: reorganization of the extracellular matrix of the fibrous ring has been revealed at the long-term staphylococcal infection that is the response to occurring degenerative changes in intervertebral disks.
The determination of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD16+, CD20+ lymphocytes content in 60 male rats Wistar has been carried out. The decrease in number of immunocompetent cells has been revealed in the first day of post-hypothermic period with the restoration to the third day. Hereafter the number of Cd3 +, CD4 +, Cd20 + cells continued to rise. The content of CD4 + and CD16 + cells remained within the reference values.
In the present research it is shown that the decrease of CD20+ lymphocytes and immunoglobulin secreting function of lymphocytes with subsequent increase by 14th days of supervision is registered in the early post-hyper thermal period. Wavy dynamics of studied indicators with increase by 3rd day of supervision and the subsequent decrease was pointed at experimental tumoral growth. Less expressed suppression of humoral link of immune system was noted at combination of hyperthermia and tumoral growth.
The expression of markers such as р53, by Bax, Bad, Bcl-2 in dermal fibroblasts of reticular dermis is studied at 18 Wistar males rats with osteomyelitis of tibial bone and at 6 control animals. Researches were conducted in 1, 2 and 3 months after procreation of staphylococcal infection. Intensifying of expression of р53 protein, rising of expression level of pro-apoptotic Bad protein, mainly at early stages, and also progressing intensifying of Bax expression against depression of Bcl-2 protein expression that testifies the high probability of activation on mitochondrial way of induction in dermal fibroblasts of reticular dermis at the long course of staphylococcal infection is revealed.
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is currently the leading method of surgical treatment of coronary heart disease (CHD). Evaluation of CABG efficiency including assessment of clinical, psychological, and social indicators contributes to improvement of clinical care, rehabilitation, and prophylactics programs in some understudied groups of patients such as postmenopausal women with CHD and CABG. Taking into account the current demographic situation in the Russian Federation, there is evidence of increasing demand for studies of this aspect of cardiac surgery. Objective of the study was to identify characteristics and evaluate quality of life of postmenopausal women with CHD undergoing CABG. Our data suggest that postmenopausal women with CHD require closer follow up with focus on psychological diagnosis, psychotherapeutic rehabilitation, and augmented pharmacological neuroprotection with nootropics during the first year after CABG.
The influences of ways of perfusion service — the deep hypothermal stop of blood circulation (HSBC) and the antegrade perfusion of brain (APB) — on the central nervous system are compared at surgical treatment of chronic postthromboembolic pulmonary hypertensia in the article. The technique of performing thrombendarterectomy from pulmonary artery at moderate hypothermia with HSBC allows avoiding the negative influence deep APB. The offered technique will help to reduce the frequency of neurologic complications at patients with this pathology.
It is shown that short-term consumption of radon water influences on detoxification component of drainage detoxification functions of lymphatic system in experiment on rats. There is activation of metabolic processes in the lymphatic region of small bowel, drainage function in wall of small bowel and regional lymph node with morphofunctional signs of activation of local mechanisms of immune protection is enlarged, the blood flow amplifies.
Initial morphological characteristics of venous autograft (great saphenous vein), and also arising damages depending on a method of its allocation at coronary artery bypass graft surgery are presented in the work. 161 patients were investigated, including 83 patients with endoscopic allocation of vein and 78 patients with open allocation of vein. Types and frequency of structural abnormalities of venous parietes at different allocation are revealed.
Direct results of surgical treatment of ischemic heart disease performed via coronary shunting have been studied at137 patients under 45 years of age.
The signs of lysis and necrobiosis intensification in parenchyma and stroma cells were revealed in the liver of carcinosarcoma Walker 256-bearing rats at the 7th day after cyclophosphamide administration. Compensatory and adaptive reconstructions and apoptosis were noted in part of cell as a result of cyclophosphamide cytostatic effect. Combined effects of paraneoplastic factors and cyclophosphamide enhance subcellular sinusoidal obstructive syndrome manifestation caused by cyclophosphamide. Hepatocytes ultrastructural features reflect the functional liver response via triggering of detoxification mechanisms in hepatocytes with extensive smooth endoplasmatic reticulum.
