A kind of mierosporidia was isolated from the infected larvae of Trichoplusia ni. The spores were oval in shape and (2.832±0.486)μm×(1.947+0.317)μm in size. Most tissues of T.ni could be parasited by the microsporidian.According to its developmental process it should be classified into genus Nosema,named as Nosema sp.
