Glyptothorax spp., locally known as Ali-ali, is a native freshwater fish in the Jambo Aye subwatershed, Wih Delong, Bener Meriah, Aceh, Indonesia. This study assessed its feeding ecology and selected ecological traits from December 2023 to February 2024. Sampling was conducted at three habitat-representative stations using gill and cast nets, yielding 90 individuals. Stomach content analysis revealed a predominantly carnivorous diet, dominated by crustaceans (72 degrees%o), followed by macrozoobenthos (19 degrees%o) and detritus (9 degrees%o), with Index of Preponderance exceeding 40 degrees%o, confirming crustaceans as principal prey. Length-frequency analysis identified eight size classes, with mean lengths highest at the plantation station (130.95 mm) and lowest in the forest station (92.19 mm). Mean relative gut length (RGL = 0.6 TL) supported carnivorous classification. Trophic niche breadth ranged between 1.30-2.17, indicating moderate resource-use variation. Length-weight relationships showed negative allometric growth (b<3) and strong positive length-weight correlations (r = 0.695-0.979). Findings indicate stable trophic positioning, spatial size variation, and growth patterns reflecting adaptation to heterogeneous headwater habitats.
Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of using industrial wastewater as a maintenance medium on the growth performance and histological description of the liver and gills of catfish. The study was conducted with a completely randomized design (CRD) using five treatments of wastewater and clean water concentrations (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) for 40 days. The parameters observed included survival, absolute weight and length growth, feed conversion ratio, gill and liver organ histology, and water quality. The results of this study indicate that the use of wastewater as a maintenance medium has a significant impact on the growth performance of catfish. Microscopic observation of gills and liver tissues showed different histopathological changes in fish exposed to wastewater. Histology results showed the most severe damage in P5 treatment with clinical symptoms in the gills (Edema, Desquamation, Fusion of lamellae, and Inflammatory cell infiltration) and liver (Microvacuolar steatosis, Hepatic sinusoids and Inflammatory cell infiltration). Exposure of treatments showed significant increase in Zn content on whole body.
Bostrychus cf. sinensis, a member of the family Eleotridae, was first identified in the Muara Telang region, Banyuasin, South Sumatra. Specimens collected from tidal channels were subsequently analyzed genetically using DNA barcoding with the Cytochrome Oxidase Subunit 1 (COI) gene. The molecular analysis revealed that the Muara Telang specimens shared 98.55% genetic similarity with Bostrychus sinensis from the Seom River, South Korea. According to genetic guidelines, a divergence greater than 3% may indicate a distinct species. The genetic divergence observed was 0.243, equivalent to 243 nucleotide variations out of 1,000 bases analyzed. Phylogenetic analysis showed that Bostrychus cf. sinensis from Muara Telang clustered within the same clade as Bostrychus sinensis but still exhibited genetic polymorphism at 8 distinct sites. Therefore, this specimen was designated as Bostrychus cf. sinensis. The COI gene sequence data for Bostrychus cf. sinensis from Muara Telang have been deposited in GenBank under accession MK777294.1.
Understanding the environmental factors associated with reef-associated fish habitat suitability is important for conservation planning in tropical archipelagic systems, where temperature, nutrient dynamics, productivity, and water quality interact across space and time. This study examined temporal changes in predicted habitat suitability for reef-associated fish across Indonesian waters from 2000 to 2023. Occurrence records were spatially thinned and modeled using MaxEnt with target-group background selection to reduce sampling bias. Model calibration was performed by comparing regularization multiplier values, and RM = 2 was selected for the final models. Four six-year periods were analyzed using satellite-derived oceanographic predictors representing thermal conditions, nutrients, productivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and suspended particulate matter. Model performance was consistently good, with mean test AUC values ranging from 0.841 to 0.900. Nutrient-related and water-quality variables were the most influential predictors of relative habitat suitability. Suspended particulate matter was the strongest contributor in T1, whereas dissolved iron dominated during T2-T4, followed by phosphate. Temperature variables contributed less than nutrient-related predictors, suggesting that reef-associated fish suitability in Indonesian waters is strongly associated with regional biogeochemical and water-quality gradients. Predicted suitable area showed a non-linear temporal pattern, declining from T1 to T2 before increasing in T3 and T4. However, these patterns should be interpreted as changes in relative environmental suitability, not direct evidence of population recovery or ecosystem resilience. These findings highlight the importance of integrating water-quality management, watershed control, reef monitoring, and field validation when using broad-scale habitat suitability models to inform reef fish conservation in Indonesian waters.
The snakehead fish (Channa striata), a native freshwater species of Indonesia, is highly valued on the market and has been successfully cultivated. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal dosage of probiotics and turmeric combination that can improve the growth and survival of farmed snakehead fish. The present study employed a fully randomized design, incorporating four treatments and three replications. The probiotics and control mixtures were administered at a dose of 0 mL/kg feed (P0), 15 mL/kg feed (P1), 30 mL/kg feed (P2), and 45 mL/kg feed (P3). Water quality, feed conversion ratio, daily growth rate, and survival rate were among the attributes assessed in the present study. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 25.0 with a 95% confidence interval. The results indicate that probiotic therapy supplemented with turmeric exerts minimal effect on the growth performance or survival rate of snakehead fish (P > 0.05). The administration of probiotics containing turmeric did not improve the growth or survival of domesticated snakehead fish raised for a duration of 60 days. Further research is needed to determine the effect of administering a combination of probiotics and turmeric on the survival and growth of snakehead fish raised for a minimum of 120 days.
Potensi perikanan budidaya di Provinsi Aceh sangatlah besar, salah satunya di wilayah Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Pembudidaya ikan di wilayah Kabupaten Nagan Raya telah lama membudidayakan ikan lele air tawar secara sistem konvensional. Sistem budidaya ikan lele seperti ini tidak meningkatkan produksi ikan budidaya dan tidak menghasilkan ikan organik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk edukasi dan pendampingan penerapan teknologi suplementasi probiotik kunyit untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi ikan budidaya dan menghasilkan ikan lele organik. Metode Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode edukasi dan pendampingan. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: diskusi awal dengan mitra pembudidaya (UPR Clarias Fish Farm), persiapan dan penyusunan program, edukasi kegiatan pengabdian, workshop kegiatan pengabdian, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan pelaporan kegiatan. Indikator keberhasilan pada metode edukasi dan pendampingan adalah mitra memahami materi dan praktek yang disampaikan oleh pemateri mengenai suplementasi probiotik kunyit dan cara budidaya ikan yang baik. Evaluasi kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk kuesioner pre-test dan post-test tentang materi yang diberikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dikatakan berhasil jika rerata nilai mitra pembudidaya diperoleh ≥75% dari kuesioner post-test yang diberikan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada mitra pembudidaya. Hasil panen juga menunjukan peningkatan kinerja produksi ikan budidaya yang diberikan probiotik kunyit dibandingkan dengan ikan budidaya yang tanpa probiotik kunyit. Kesimpulannya mitra pembudidaya UPR Clarias Fish Farm mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai suplementasi probiotik kunyit sebesar 80% dan produksi ikan lele menggunakan probiotik kunyit meningkatkan pertambahan panjang 3,9 cm lebih panjang atau 17,89% dibandingkan tanpa probiotik serta ikan yang diberikan probiotik kunyit juga lebih berat 25,96 gram atau 21,72% lebih berat dibandingkan tanpa probiotik.

Coral reefs are critical marine ecosystems that are increasingly threatened by human and environmental pressures, prompting research into how habitats shape biodiversity. This study explored how seven reef cover classes: reef slopes, sheltered reef slopes, reef crests, reef flats, plateaus, backreef slopes, and lagoons, influence reef fish functional diversity in the Banyak Islands Marine Nature Park, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Using underwater visual censuses across 20 sites with 60 belt transects (250 m² each), we surveyed 131 reef fish species at 3-12 m depths. We measured four functional diversities of reef fish: Functional Richness (FRic), Functional Divergence (FDiv), Functional Evenness (FEve), and Rao’s Quadratic entropy (RaoQ). Bayesian multivariate models revealed that reef slopes, sheltered reef slopes, and reef crests significantly influenced functional diversity, explaining 2-55% of variance, average 28.5%. Reef slopes showed the strongest effects, positively influencing FEve (posterior probability: 0.95) and RaoQ (posterior probability: 0.99), indicating balanced trait distribution and enhanced functional diversity in structurally complex habitats. However, reef slopes negatively affected FDiv (posterior probability: 0.89). Reef slopes notably boost RaoQ and FEve, reflecting balanced trait distribution and diverse ecological roles. The effects on functional richness and divergence were less pronounced, indicating limited trait range expansion. This study reveals that certain reef formations play a crucial role in maintaining healthy aquatic ecosystems, which is vital for conservation efforts in less-than-ideal reef environments.
Pemberian pakan secara manual sering kali kurang efisien dan mengakibatkan pakan terbuang percuma. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan memfasilitasi penerapan teknologi automatic fish feeder (feederku) bagi para pembudidaya ikan nila di Kecamatan Beutong Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendampingan, dengan tahapan kegiatannya meliputi: (1) identifikasi kebutuhan; (2) pendampingan inovasi feederku. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan selama 2 bulan, meliputi pelatihan cara membuat, pengoperasian, pemeliharaan alat, serta pemantauan hasil penerapan di lapangan; (3) evaluasi dan monitoring. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keberdayaan mitra (aspek pengetahuan, teknis). Aspek pengetahuan meliputi mitra mulai mengetahui dan memahami manfaat feederku dalam budidaya ikan nila setelah diberikan pendampingan baik non-teknis maupun teknis (100% peserta setuju bermanfaat). Sedangkan aspek teknis, mitra mendapatkan keterampilan untuk merakit alat feederku secara tepat (90% peserta terampil) dimana mayoritas peserta mampu mengoperasionalkan feederku dengan baik (80% peserta mampu), serta selama pemakaian alat feederku (lebih kurang 2 bulan dikolam) mitra merasakan benefitnya dalam hal efisiensi waktu dan tenaga dalam bekerja (100% peserta menyatakan efisien). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian dengan judul pendampingan inovasi feederku telah memberikan hasil yang positif bagi pembudidaya ikan nila di Kecamatan Beutong. Manual feeding is often less efficient, and results in wasted feed. This service aims to introduce and facilitate the application of automatic fish feeder technology (feederku) for tilapia fish farmers in Beutong District, Nagan Raya Regency. This service activity uses the mentoring method, with the stages of activities including: (1) identification of needs; (2) assistance in feederku innovation. Mentoring activities are carried out for 2 months, including training on how to make, operate, maintain tools, and monitor the results of application in the field; (3) evaluation and monitoring. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in partner empowerment (knowledge, technical aspects). The knowledge aspect includes partners starting to know and understand the benefits of my feeder in tilapia farming after being given both non-technical and technical assistance (100% of participants agreed that it was useful). While the technical aspects, partners get the skills to assemble the feederku tool appropriately (90% of participants are skilled); and the majority of participants are able to operate the feederku well (80% of participants are able); and during the use of the feederku tool (approximately 2 months in the pond), partners feel the benefits in terms of time and energy efficiency in work (100% of participants stated efficient). Thus it can be concluded that the service activity with the title of feederku innovation assistance has provided positive results for tilapia fish farmers in Beutong District.
Kabupaten Nagan Raya merupakan Kabupaten tertinggi produksi ikan nila diwilayah barat Provinsi Aceh. Kelompok petani ikan nila mengalami masalah pada pertumbuhan ikan nila yang lambat dan tidak seragam. Salah satu penyebab pertumbuhan lambat dan tidak seragam diakibatkan benih kurang berkualitas dari hasil pemijahan liar. Pemijahan liar dicegah dengan cara pemeliharaan ikan monoseks. Benih ikan monoseks dapat diperoleh dari penerapan teknologi sek reversal. larva ikan nila diarahkan kelaminnya menjadi jantan (maskulinisasi). Tujuan PKM adalah memberi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan penerapan sex reversal bagi kelompok petani ikan nila. Objek/sasaran adalah kelompok masyarakat yang produktif secara ekonomi, dengan mitra kelompok petani ikan (UPR Mina Mandiri). Metode pelaksanaan PKM melalui pendidikan non formal berupa pelatihan, praktik dan pendampingan. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: persiapan program, sosialisasi program, pelatihan sek reversal, penerapan dan pendampingan sek reversal dan evaluasi. Hasil PKM diperoleh, mitra memahami tahapan pelaksanaan dan tujuan pelaksanaan program pengabdian pada waktu sosialisasi. Peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang sek reversal ikan dari 23% (pre-test) menjadi 79% (post-test). Petani ikan mengetahui alur kerja penerapan sek reversal dan trampil dalam melakukannya. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan merupakan indikator keberhasilan pelaksanaan program transfer iptek ke petani ikan, melalui pelatihan dan praktek langsung. Kesimpulannya, kelompok petani ikan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang sek reversal ikan sebesar 56% dan mampu menghasilkan benih ikan nila monoseks jantan.
Pakan merupakan komponen yang menunjang pertumbuhan dan sintasan dalam budidaya ikan. Salah satu bahan baku alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pakan ikan yaitu daun tarum (Indigofera zollingeriana). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan daun tarum (Indigofera zollingeriana) terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan pada ikan seurukan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan penggunaan tepung daun tarum terdiri dari P0 (tanpa penambahan tepung daun tarum/kontrol), P1 (penambahan tepung daun tarum 5%), P2 (penambahan tepung daun tarum 10%), P3 (penambahan tepung daun tarum 15%), P4 (penambahan tepung daun tarum 20%). Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis tepung daun tarum pada pakan komersial berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap performa pertumbuhan ikan serukan. Dosis terbaik untuk meningkatkan performa pertumbuhan ikan seurukan adalah perlakuan 4 dengan dosis 20%. Nilai P4 yang terdiri dari nilai sintasan 98.33%, pertambahan bobot ikan sebesar 3.98 gram, pertambahan panjang sebesar 3,36 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3.81%/hari, dan rasio konversi pakan sebesar 1.06. Goonch (Bagarius yarelli) is one of the local fish species affected by dynamic changes due to activities along Perjaya Dam. The first component in conducting the cultivation of local fish is domestication The main problem in domestication is the adaptation of wild fish to the controlled environment. Another aspect that needs to concern in domestication is the defense of domesticated species from several pathogens, especially parasites because most of wild fish captured from natural habitats are attacked by several parasites. This study aimed to determine the prevalence and intensity of ectoparasites attacked goonch captured from Perjaya Dam. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method and followed by laboratory examination. A total number of 90 goonch were collected using fishing rods and gillnets with an aid from local fishermen during this study. Ectoparasites were examined on several external organs including skin or scales, fins, and gills. Ectoparasites found during the sample examination were recorded for further calculation of ectoparasites types, prevalence, and intensity. The measurement of water quality parameters was performed after sample collection. Water quality parameters measured consisted of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, and transparency. Goonch captured from Perjaya Dam were infested by Lernaea sp. and Gyrodactylus sp. through single infestation and with the same prevalence level (1.11%). Lernaea sp. showed a higher intensity (52 ind/fish) on goonch than that of Gyrodactylus sp. (1 ind/fish). Almost all water quality parameter in sampling site, including temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen, were in normal ranges to support the live of freshwater fish. The endemic betta fish (Betta dennisyongi) was a species of freshwater ornamental fish native to Indonesia which has been successfully domesticated but it has low survival rate and growth. One way to increase the survival rate and growth of farmed fish is by administering turmeric probiotics. This study aims to analyze the best dosage of turmeric probiotics to increase the survival rate and growth of domesticated betta fish. This research was carried out experimentally. The treatments were control, turmeric probiotic 1.5 mL 100 grams feed, turmeric probiotic 3 mL 100 grams feed, turmeric probiotic 4.5 mL 100 grams feed. The parameters tested during the research were survival rate, daily growth rate, and feed conversion ratio and water quality. The analysis of variance test on the data was analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program with a 95% confidence interval. Treatments that are significantly different will be further tested using the Duncan test to determine the best treatment. The results of the study showed that giving turmeric probiotics for survival rate gave results that had a significant effect (P<0.05) but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the growth of betta fish. The use of turmeric probiotics 3 mL 100 grams feed can increase weight gain, length gain and survival rate of domesticated betta fish.
Kecamatan Meureubo memiliki potensi perikanan budidaya air tawar yang potensial untuk dikembangkan. UD. Sonia Ratu merupakan usaha budidaya ikan yang berfokus pada kegiatan pembesaran benih ikan lele. Usaha budidaya ikan ini masih mengandalkan sistem budidaya secara konvensional sehingga produktivitas budidaya belum maksimal. Peningkatkan produktivitas budidaya ikan dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi akuaponik sistem rakit apung. Teknologi akuaponik sistem rakit apung yaitu kegiatan budidaya yang menggabungkan antara budidaya ikan dengan tanaman. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memperkenalkan teknologi akuaponik rakit apung bagi pembudidaya ikan lele di Kecamatan Meureubo sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas usaha budidaya ikan lele UD. Sonia Ratu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi dan bimbingan teknis secara langsung tentang teknik pembuatan akuaponik sistem rakit apung. Materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan edukasi meliputi manfaat, cara pembuatan, konsep penggunaan hingga praktek langsung pembuatan dan pengaplikasian langsung akuaponik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah pembudidaya ikan UD. Sonia Ratu mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai metode budidaya dengan teknologi akuaponik sistem rakit apung. Peningkatan pemahaman pembudidaya ikan sebesar 35% berdasarkan hasil test yang telah dilakukan. Pembudidaya ikan mendapatkan keterampilan cara pembuatan akuaponik dan mengaplikasikan langsung rangkaian akuaponik ke dalam kolam pemeliharaan ikan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan usaha budidaya ikan UD Sonia Ratu terhadap metode budidaya dengan menggunakan akuaponik sistem rakit apung.
Ikan serban malem (Betta rubra) merupakan ikan endemik perairan tawar. Ikan ini tersebar di wilayah barat dan selatan Provinsi Aceh. Salah satu lokasi sebaran ikan ini adalah Kanal air Perbukitan Malem, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, Provinsi Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi ikan serban malem yang terdapat di kanal air Perbukitan Malem, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, Provinsi Aceh. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu dan informasi penduduk setempat. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel ikan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dari bulan Agustus hingga Oktober tahun 2023. Selama penelitian diperoleh 138 sampel ikan yang terdiri dari 91 ekor ikan jantan dan 47 ekor ikan betina. Panjang tubuh total ikan berkisar antara 2,1-5,0 cm dan berat ikan berkisar antara 0,05-0,91 gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan jantan dan betina bersifat alometrik negatif dengan faktor kondisi berkisar antara 0,5071-1,8846.
The catch of bileh fish (Rasbora sp.) has been caught from nature. Continuous fishing will lead to extinction in its habitat. Efforts made to anticipate this are carried out in the cultivation process. In fish farming, feed has a role as a source of nutrition for the growth process and survival of fish to be cultivated. Feed needs to support growth must have the right or appropriate nutritional content. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of adding tarum leaf meal (Indigofera zollingeriana) added to the feed by looking at the growth rate and survival of bileh fish (Rasbora sp.). This study used a complete randomized design (CRD), which consisted of four treatments then each treatment was repeated three times. The treatment.ie P0: control, P1: 10%, P2: 20%, and P3: 30% additional needle leaf flour. The test parameters observed were weight gain, length gain, feed conversion ratio, specific growth rate and survival. The results ANOVA test showed that the feed added with tarum leaf flour had a significant effect (P<0,05) on length increase and specific growth rate, and there was no significant effect (P>0,05) on weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and survival.
Seagrasses are important marine plants that provide a variety of ecosystem services, including food and shelter for marine life, and protection from coastal erosion. This study investigated the biodiversity (alpha and beta diversity) of seagrass in the Kepulauan Banyak Marine Nature Park, Indonesia, with a specific focus on eight sites. Alpha diversity was calculated using Shannon's index, Simpson's index, and Pielou evenness. Beta diversity was determined using Bray-Curtis dissimilarity and Jaccard dissimilarity allowing us to examine the variations in species composition among different sites. Principal coordinate analysis and Partial distance-based redundancy analysis was used to visualize and investigate the impact of constraint variables to the structure of the seagrass communities. Alpha diversity varied among the sites, with the highest alpha diversity found at the Orongan and Matahari site and the lowest at the Ujung Lolok and Balai sites. The dominant substrate type (mud or sand) was found to be a significant (P≤ 0.01) determinant of seagrass alpha diversity, with mud substrates supporting higher diversity than sand substrates. The relationship between alpha diversity and constrain variables was only significant with closest distance to forest lost and longitude variables. The analysis found that water pH, closest distance to forest lost, mean distance to tourism spots, and closest distance to settlement collectively explained a significant (P≤ 0.001) portion (88.48%) of the variation in beta diversity of seagrass across the sites. The results of this study can be used to develop management strategies for the conservation of seagrass meadows in the park.
Pelatihan pembuatan pakan ikan berbasis bahan baku lokal di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil dipilih karena pentingnya mengatasi masalah ketersediaan dan harga pakan ikan komersial yang tinggi, yang menghambat budidaya ikan dan berdampak negatif pada lingkungan. Dengan memanfaatkan bahan baku lokal, seperti tanaman dan limbah pertanian, pelatihan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada pembudidaya ikan, membantu mereka memproduksi pakan ikan mandiri yang berkualitas. Ini diharapkan akan meningkatkan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan budidaya ikan, serta mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, yang pada akhirnya memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi masyarakat di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan diantaranya: Survey Lokasi Kegiatan, Pelatihan Pembuatan Pakan dan Evaluasi Kegiatan berupa ujian (pre-test) dan (post-test) sebagai indikator keberhasilan program. Hasil kegiatan mencerminkan pencapaian yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan praktik pembuatan pakan. Peserta pelatihan berkomitmen untuk memanfaatkan bahan baku lokal untuk pembuatan pakan yang berkelanjutan.
Efforts to cultivate bileh fish (Rasbora maninjau) experience obstacles in providing seeds due to controlled reproduction in aquaculture containers is still difficult to do. This is due to the slow maturation of fish gonads, which takes a long time. Internal factors, including the hormonal system, influence the reproductive cycle and maturation of fish gonads. This study aims to determine the effect of PMSG (Oodev) hormone administration through feed on the reproductive performance of bileh fish. Experimental research method with CRD experimental design (completely randomized design). The experiment consisted of 4 treatments (P) with three replications. The treatments were PMSG hormone (Oodev) with different doses, namely 0 (P1), 0.5 (P2), 1 (P3), and 2 ml/kg feed (P4). The research phase included the preparation of containers and fish, preparing hormones and feed, rearing, and data collection. Parameters taken and evaluated include gonadosomatic index (GSI), hepatosomatic index (HSI), estradiol concentration, fecundity, and egg diameter. Data were processed and analyzed using statistics (Anova). The results showed that the administration of PMSG hormone (Oodev) through feed had a significant effect on GSI, HSI, estradiol concentration, fecundity, and egg diameter (P0.05). The best treatment was P3 (1 ml/kg) with a GSI value of 8.25%, HSI of 0.41%, estradiol level of 22.46pg/mL, fecundity of 3207 eggs, and egg diameter of 0.85mm. Abstract Bileh fish (Rasbora maninjau) still have difficulty spawning in a controlled manner in aquaculture containers because the maturation of female fish gonads is slow and takes a long time. Internal factors, including the hormonal system, strongly influence the maturation of fish gonads. This study aims to determine the effect of Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG) and antidopamine on female gonads of bileh fish. The research used an experiment with a CRD (Completely Randomized Design) experimental design. The experiment consisted of four treatments and three repetitions. The treatments were the administration of PMSG and antidopamine hormones at different doses through feed, namely: 0 ml/kg feed (P1), 0.5 ml/kg feed (P2), 1 ml/kg feed (P3) and 2 ml/kg feed (P4). The research procedures included container and fish preparation, hormone, and feed preparation, fish rearing, and data collection. The test parameters evaluated were weight gain (Wg), gonadosomatic index (GSI), and gonadal maturity level (GML). Data on test parameters were analyzed with statistics (Anova). The research results showed that the administration of PMSG hormones and antidopamine through feed had a significant effect on weight gain, gonadosomatic index and gonad maturity level of bileh fish (P<0.05). Effective and best treatment at P3 (1 ml/kg feed) with Wg 0.22grams, GSI 8.58%, and GML IV 60%.
