DESCRIPTION: This two‐day workshop will offer the participants an opportunity to consider the realities of what it means to “live in poverty.” Through the research of Dr. Ruby Payne, PhD, this compelling and interactive workshop provides a foundation to understand the variables that sometimes interfere with achievement and success for the community of poverty. Drawing upon personal experiences, participants will leave with strategies for effectively engaging with the community of poverty.
