Thirty-eight samples of wild banana leaves from Rixi town of Fuzhou were collected as materials, the technical system of ISSR marker was used, and their genetic structures were analyzed by related software STRUCTURE and NTSYS in the study. The results showed that based on 13 primers, 116 stable DNA fragments were obtaimed, of which polymorphic band number was 70, accounting for 60.34%,which revealed a relative high level of genetic diversity. The results of NTSYS and STRUCTURE analysis showed that 38 wild materials could be divided into 6 groups. The Q-value analysis showed that there was a certain exchang of genetic information in the natural populations of wild banana in Rixi town, Fuzhou city.
Universal primers of the WSP gene sequence were used to amplify DNA of Wolbachia from ants by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Some 550 bp (Camponotus japonicus Mayr) and 530bp (Pheidole spathifera Forel) characteristic products were observed after amplification of extracts from some specimens. The results show that the ant specimens were infected by wolbachia. By constructing the phylogenetic tree of the WSP gene sequence of Camponotus japonicus Mayr, Pheidole spathifera Forel and that sequences from Gen Bank, we found that the sequences of two ant species were similar to the strain of InsA group in A supergroup of wolbachia.
This paper studied the geographical distribution pattern of grasshoppers in Shaanxi by GIS (Geographic Information System) techniques. Using 593 longitude and latitude grid cells(0.2°×0.2°) to count the distribution data of grasshopper, and according to the range of distributions, grasshoppers in Shaanxi were divided into three groups: 1) all-area-distributed species (distributed in all the 593 grid cells); 2) more-area-distributed species (distributed in more than 9 grid cells); 3) one-area-distributed species (distributed in less than 9 grid cells). The more-area-distributed species were clustered based on distributions, and it could be divided into 12 groups with the proximity coefficients of 0.153. Then used spacial layers analysis of GIS to judge the distribution pattern of each group. The results show: 1) the obstruct function of Qinling mountain to grasshopper is distinct. The species in south of Qinling is predominated by Palaeoarctic realm species while north of Qinling is predominated by Oriental realm species. 2) The geographical distribution pattern of grasshopper in Shaanxi is almost consistent with the pattern all over China. 3) The regions of Taibai mountain have a higher biology diversity. It is a hot spot for the study of biology diversity.
This paper reports a new species of the genus Pteronemobius (Orthoptera, Grylloidea Trigonidiidae), P. taibaiensis Xu et Deng, sp. nov. This new species is allied to P. indicus (Walker, 1869) and P.qinghaiensis, Yin but differs in: 1) tegmen of male: its mirror field with dividing vein, not closed cells; 2) stridulatory file:file with 70 teeth, about 0.57mm long, density of teeth with 119 teeth a mm; 3) male genitalia: epiphallus is broad “V"-shaped, with wide concavity of the anterior margin of epiphallus. Holotype ♂,Taibai Mountain, Shaanxi Province, 9 Sep. 2005, collected by XU Sheng-Quan. Paratypes: 4♂♂, 3♀♀, same data as holotype, collected by XU Sheng-Quan. All type specimens are deposited at the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University. Etymology. The new species is named after the locality where the specimen were collected, the Mt. Taibai.
