In the global energy sector there is an increasing need to replace the traditional energy resources with appropriate analogues of the plant origin, which will significantly reduce the consumption of traditional fuels. Ukraine has significant energy potential for the development of the bioenergy industry, in particular, the use of such an effective bioenergy crop as miscanthus. The technology for growing miscanthus involves the use of the planting material in the form of rhizomes which must be in a significantly crushed form. The goal of increasing the efficiency of the process of collecting the miscanthus planting material is to substantiate the machine parameters for mechanized digging of the miscanthus rhizomes. To do this, based on an analysis of various technological processes for digging up other root crops and devices for soil separation, we have developed a new machine for mechanized collection of miscanthus rhizomes with their simultaneous disintegration into parts, and rhizomes that are treated by a drum and a pin grid, located above. According to the results of the study it was established that the number of miscanthus, separated by rhizomes, is 62%, the amount of damage to the planting material is 2.5%. On industrial plantations the use of the developed machine ensures division of miscanthus rhizomes into parts, and the undivided rhizomes account for only 18.5%; the degree of soil separation is 82.7% with an absolute humidity of 22.6%. The ratio of the miscanthus rhizomes divided into parts and the rhizomes is 39:61, which indicates that for every hundred crushed parts of miscanthus there are almost 40 pieces, already fully suitable as the planting material. The obtained results allow us to recommend the machine for digging up miscanthus rhizomes with certain optimal design parameters for mass (serial) production.

The full-scale war that the russian federation has unleashed against Ukraine has caused a humanitarian and economic catastrophe that is spreading beyond our country. One of the most tragic consequences of this war is the strengthening of the global problem of hunger. The article examines the state and prospects of grain export from Ukraine to foreign markets according to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine during martial law. The main volume of supplies of grain and leguminous crops during the 2022 marketing year has been determined. Based on the analysis of the received data, it was established that the war in Ukraine caused the stoppage or damage of many domestic agricultural enterprises. It was determined that significant negatives were created in the logistics of their supply, both within the country and abroad. The impact of russian aggression on the prospects of supplying Ukrainian grain to the global and domestic food market is proven. A well-founded assumption is made that, as a result of military actions, the reduction of the export of Ukrainian grain products causes an unprecedented increase in food prices on the world market and the aggravation of the global problem of hunger in the world. However, the actual food reserves and planned volumes of agricultural production of our state are sufficient to provide the population with grain. It is noted that the restoration of domestic exports, as in pre-war times, in the proper volume is possible only under the condition of a complete cessation of hostilities, since the possibilities of logistics of transport communications on land routes are insignificant. The relevance of the researched data is reinforced by the implementation of an applied study carried out at the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry of the Vinnytsia National Agrarian University at the expense of the state budget on the topic: «Development of methods for improving the technology of growing legumes using biofertilizers, bacterial preparations, foliar feeding and physiologically active substances» (state registration number 0120U102034). A system for the purchase of alternative fertilizers is proposed, which will stimulate income to local budgets due to the additional expansion of the production of recommended biological preparations by regional farms. This, in turn, will stimulate the creation of additional jobs in the field of biological support, increase the overall ecological orientation of cultivation technologies and ensure the ecological stability of agricultural territories. This event will contribute to the effective European integration of Ukraine and the general improvement of the quality of the grown products, which will meet world standards in the field of organic and biological agriculture. Ultimately, this will contribute to the successful processes of stabilization of agricultural production in the post-war period and will guarantee obtaining appropriate levels of production at significantly lower levels of costs.

The article covers an experimental field study of scientific issues - increasing the yield of sunflower seeds by optimizing the basic elements of cultivation technology. The research was carried out in the period 2020-2021 in the research field of VNAU on the basis of NDG "Agronomichnenske", which is located in the village of Agronomichne Vinnytsia region. Two hybrids of early-ripening sunflower maturity Integral and Slavson were studied in the studies of row spacing and sowing density. To achieve this goal used field, laboratory, statistical and computational methods. The quality of the harvest and its structure, the efficiency of the use of environmental resources were determined by the laboratory method. The reliability of the obtained research results was assessed by a statistical method. The economic efficiency of the studied elements of the technology was determined by the calculation-comparative method. It was found that when sowing sunflowers with a row spacing of 45 cm, the growing season of the hybrid Integral is 108 days, and the hybrid Slavson - 95 days. With a row spacing of 70 cm, the vegetation of plants of both hybrids is reduced by 2-6 days. It was observed that with the thickening of crops from 50 to 90 thousand / ha, the plant height of the hybrid Slavson increases from 179.1 to 190.4 cm, and the hybrid Integral from 184.1 to 196.9 cm. Larger weight of 1000 seeds was provided by the early-ripening hybrid Integral with a row spacing of 70 cm and a sowing density of 50 thousand plants / ha - 72.6 g, and the lowest value of this indicator was at a density of 90 thousand plants / ha - 56.1 g. Sunflower yield depends on structural elements such as number of inflorescences per unit area, number of seeds per inflorescence, average weight or weight of 1000 seeds, and seed quality is mainly determined by fat and protein content. We state that the optimal sowing density of hybrids Integral Slavson and for sowing with a row spacing of 45 and 70 cm was - 70 thousand / ha. Higher seed yield for sowing 70 cm was provided by the hybrid Integral - 2.72 t / ha.
According to the first method of the first Griffing model, the system of crosses included, according to the evaluation presented in the previous sections, 8 self-pollinated lines of corn (F 502, UH 405, CM 5-1-1, MA 22, UHC 409, CO 255, KL 17, CO 108), which were characterized by different indicators of grain yield, resistance to pests and the length of the growing season. Total genotypic variability was divided into components that are due to general and specific combination ability, as well as reciprocal effects. In terms of resistance to damage by the corn borer, the best combination ability was found in lines F502, CM 5-1-1, UH 405 and UHC 409, which were marked by negative values of the effects of total combination ability. According to our research, the UHC 409, СО 108, МА 22 and F 502 lines, which had negative values of the effects of hall combinatorial ability over the years of research, were noted for the best resistance in terms of combinatorial ability to be affected by vesicular smut. In terms of resistance to flying smut, self-pollinated lines with high negative values of the effects of hall combination ability - CM 5-1-1, CO 108, UHC 409, MA 22, F 502 and UH 405. As shown and evidenced by the results of comparing the obtained values of the effects of the total combination capacity of self-pollinated lines on resistance to pest damage and disease with the values of the effects of the total combination capacity on grain yield, it is advisable to note such self-pollinated lines as UH 405, F 502 and CM 5-1- 1. These lines combine the negative values of the effects of the hall combination ability on pest damage and disease with high positive effects of the hall combination ability.
This article provides an economic assessment of the elements of the technology for growing chickpea. The most effective aspects of the cultivation technology are highlighted, which provide the maximum increase in the productivity of chickpea plants and high economic efficiency. Assessing the economic efficiency of growing chickpeas and other agricultural crops in agricultural enterprises, first of all, it is necessary to determine the system of interrelated indicators that will objectively show its level. For this, they are often used both in value and in kind. According to the research results, the indicators of economic and energy efficiency of seed treatment before sowing and foliar dressing in the elements of chickpea cultivation technology, which were the object of study, were determined. The economic efficiency of growing chickpea grain in the Pravoberezhnaya forest-steppe was determined by the following indicators: the cost of production per 1 ha, the cost of 1 ton of grain, costs per 1 ha, net profit per hectare, and the level of profitability. During the calculation, the following research results were used: those that form the selling price – grain yield, yield increase, protein and fat content, and those that make up the cost of production – production costs. According to the exchange prices, the cost of chickpea grain is rather unstable and fluctuates in a wide range – from UAH 10,000 to UAH 30,000 per 1 ton. The cost of production from 1 hectare was set taking into account the price of chickpeas as of 31.12. 2019, which averaged UAH 20,000. When treating seeds before sowing with bioinoculant Rizoline + Rhizosave and two foliar feeding with micronutrient fertilizer, the legume yield of the Pegasus variety was high. net profit at the level of 17,815 rubles / ha with a profitability level of 155%, which is 68% more for control, for the Triumph variety – 15793 UAH / ha and 139%, which is 62% more for control. Considering the structure of costs, we can conclude that the maximum costs were respectively for the following categories of costs: for protective equipment – 21.5%, seeds – 34.9% and fuels and lubricants – 15.3%. Hence, a significant part of the costs falls on other costs, which include deductions for depreciation and repair non-current assets.
The article presents the data of experimental studies conducted during 2018-2020. The main task of the research was to study the impact of technological methods of cultivation on varietal technology of chickpea cultivation in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine given current trends in climate change. It was found that field germination varied depending on the pre-sowing treatment of seeds and varietal characteristics, and the survival of plants in the field – in addition to the studied cultivation techniques, also from the treatment of vegetative plants. It is established that the period of emergence of seedlings is extremely important in the formation of their survival rate, which will ultimately increase the individual productivity of plants and yields. Based on the analysis of the obtained indicators of field germination of seeds of chickpea varieties, it was found that the effect of pre-sowing seed treatment on the studied indicator is not significant as the intensity of seed germination is due to endosperm, which contains its own spare nutrients. The relevance of the research is enhanced by the objectives of applied research performed at the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University at the expense of the state budget on the topic: «Development of methods for improving the technology of growing legumes using biofertilizers, bacterial preparations», (state registration number 0120U102034). Introduction of advanced technological methods of chickpea cultivation into wide production practice will allow to reduce the deficit of fodder and food protein, increase fertility and improve the soil structure to ensure the rational use of natural potential, which will further expand the sown area of legumes.

The best duration of the interfacial flowering-ripening period and its stability was the Gigantella variety, which was characterized by a coefficient of plasticity less than 1. The highest coefficient of agronomic stability, which was 97.9%, and homeostatic - 15.9, and the stability variant was the lowest among varieties which had been studied. In addition, high stability was provided by the variety Local Green, which along with a long period of flowering-ripening provided a low coefficient of variation, which was 4.3%, and the coefficient of agronomic stability was 95.7%, and homeostatic was 7.7, but the variance stability was higher than in the Gigantella variety. High indicators of stability were also provided by the Marmurov variety, which, along with a long period of flowering-ripening, was characterized by high stability of this indicator. Thus, the coefficient of plasticity - 0.78, the coefficient of agronomic stability was 95.4%, and homeostatic - 6.8. The weight of 1000 grains was distinguished by the variety Gigantella, which had a mass of 1000 grains was 457.2 g, also a high weight of 1000 grains provided a variety of Marble - 428.3 g. In addition, this variety provided relatively high stability, the coefficient of variation was 7.6%, and the coefficient of agronomic stability - 92.4%. Therefore, it is very difficult to combine the high mass of 1000 grains with the stability of this indicator. According to the coefficient of plasticity and the level of yield, the variety Gigantella stood out, which provided a yield of 2.64 t / ha, and the coefficient of plasticity was higher than one. In addition, this variety provided a high coefficient of agronomic stability - 90.1% and a coefficient of variation - 9.9%, homeostatic was the highest among the varieties studied and amounted to 0.27. Relatively high indicators of plasticity and stability provided Marmurov variety, which provided a yield of 2.28 t / ha, the coefficient of plasticity above one, as well as high stability, namely the coefficient of variation - 8.7% and the coefficient of agronomic stability 91.3% , and homeostatic - 0.26, the stability variant was as close as possible to zero.
The relevance of the conducted research is based on the tasks of the applied research of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University on the topic: «Development of methods for improving the technology of growing leguminous crops using biofertilizers, bacterial preparations, foliar fertilizers and physiologically active substances». Analysing the literature sources various technological methods of growing leguminous crops for providing the rational use of natural agricultural potential, which will further increase the sown area of major legumes, which are of strategic importance, have been evaluated. The article analyses the varietal diversity of leguminous crops included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine. High-yielding varieties for the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine of soybeans – Azymut, Holubka, sowing peas – Tsarevych and Prystan have been chosen for the study; white lupine – Veresnevyi, Chabanskyi; narrow-leaved lupine – Olimp, Peremozhets; chickpeas for sowing – Skarb, Pegas. According to the group of ripeness, early-, medium- and medium-early-ripening varieties of legumes are selected, which have been distinguished among others for their high grain and protein productivity. It has been determined that the types of legumes in terms of set basic economic-valuable peculiarities have significant advantages such as resistance to adverse environmental factors, pests and manufacturability. Currently, there is a significant gap between the production and consumption of vegetable oils in Ukraine, as a significant part of them is exported to the European Union. Therefore, in order to quantify the comparative performance of different sunflower hybrids under the influence of different moisture conditions and nitrogen fertilizer rates, this study was conducted. The studied variants included three hybrids of sunflower Hysun 33, Hysun 38 and Pioneer-64A93, five rates of nitrogen fertilizers (0, 60, 120, 180, 240 kg of nitrogen per 1 ha ), arranged randomly in quadruplicate. Field research was conducted for two years under three different conditions of moisture (insufficient, unstable and sufficient) in the research areas of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University. The results of the study showed that the productivity of sunflower hybrids varied greatly in response to the application of nitrogen fertilizers and different humidification conditions. The maximum seed yield of 3,177 t / ha was obtained under conditions of sufficient moisture. Among the studied hybrids, the hybrid Hysun 38, surpassed the other two hybrids, providing a yield of 3.083 t / ha and a seed oil content of 41%. There was an increase in the yield of hybrids with increasing rates of nitrogen fertilizers, and the maximum yield was obtained by applying 180 kg / ha of nitrogen in dr. Studies have shown that the yield potential of hybrid Hysun 38 can be fully used by applying nitrogen fertilizers at a rate of 180 kg / ha in conditions of insufficient moisture. Higher nitrogen levels contributed to the significant formation of vegetative mass, thus balancing in favor of reproductive growth. Achieving a yield plateau with 180 kg / ha of nitrogen fertilizers means that an additional dose of nitrogen fertilizers did not contribute to further yield growth. The presence of a strong correlation between the yield of hybrids and nitrogen norms indicates that the yield depends on the presence of a sufficient amount of nitrogen in the soil. The highest yield was obtained by hybrid Hysun 38 - 3,662 t / ha with the introduction of 180 kg / ha of nitrogen. The oil content in the seeds varied significantly depending on different moisture conditions, hybrids and nitrogen fertilizer rates. The maximum oil content of 42.8% was obtained in conditions of sufficient moisture, in conditions of unstable - 40.9% and in conditions of insufficient - 40.4%
