15 years of research experience in fatigue & structural integrity of aeronautical structures. Initially, the research focused on metallic and FML structures, but in the past years the research has expanded to structures made of fiber reinforced polymer materials.
The main theme in the research has been the experimental characterization of damage initiation and formation with in conjunction the development of mechanistic models to predict this initiation and growth.
Specialties: Consultant on Hybrid Structures related activities with major OEM’s and Tier suppliers.
Co-developer of FML training course on fatigue & damage tolerance, manufacturing, and design related topics; given to major aircraft producers.
